The entrapped spirit was tempted to just wait for whatever idiot was attempting some ritual that would jump right into the age of magic, but that sort of upheaval would make the accomplishment of his currently bound task that much more difficult.
It would be hard enough just to get two people together, much less eleven, and, much as he considered his own power, he had no doubt that the vagaries of chance and circumstance were difficult to control.
So, the first task would be to get the eleven together and supporting each other. Given them a head start on the way the world was going to change. This might be slower, but it could prove to be safer and...somewhat entertaining at least to start.
It was not an ideal situation for what he wanted...it would have been much better if the phrasing of the wish allowed for six couples rather than one...pack with an alpha male and several breeding females.
Genetics being what they are he was going to get a much weaker spread to start, though he'd given Ranma and the girls a little kick that would make their genetics tend to breed true for a few generations.
Now it was just a matter of getting things set off.
It was going to be a subtle thing. The first girl would be the tripwire that started the fall down the slippery slope.
