Outer Troubles: A Quick Rundown (LIME) [Episode 160509]

by The Demented Redhead

As the sun came up over Nerima, another day started for the people in this Ward of Tokyo.

But this day was anything but normal; due to the missing presence of one proclaimed chaos magnet.

The item from the Cursed Antique Shop was of very limited design. It didn’t have a lot of power, so it couldn’t bring someone back from the dead, per se. But it could alter the memories of a few select individuals.

Of course, it wouldn’t be a cursed antique if it didn’t have some major drawbacks. For this one, it was that the effected persons remembered both the old and new timeline.

For Ranma, this meant he would need the rest of the night to understand anything. But with his Swiss-cheese memory, it wouldn’t be too noticeable.

For Nodoka, it wouldn’t be that bad of a change-over either. Then again, the new universe fit in with her dreams, so she might not care.

But the biggest ones to notice the changes would be the two older Tendo sisters.

Kasumi had never even thought of Ranma in the romantic sense in the old timeline. And while Nabiki may have, she never acted on it.

But that was the old timeline.

In the new timeline, both women had been frequent conquests of Ranma; so much so that the phrase “morning milk” took on a secret meaning. He had spent many a night with each girl, Kasumi waking him up in the appropriate room when she woke, so as to not let Genma find out.

Of course they had to be careful when Nodoka came to visit. They knew the woman knew what they did. She always had a smile on her face when they had sex, as if she had a sixth sense about it. She had even approached both girls in secret about if she had grandchildren on the way.

This of course meant they had to be very creative in hiding their birth control, lest Nodoka decide to exchange it or sabotage it. Both girls had discussed it with Ranma, and agreed that they just weren’t ready for a child. Sure, it would be nice later on, but both still had dreams of college. Kasumi had even been applying to several as well as filling out scholarship applications.

But that is over for now. Nodoka had not told them where Ranma had gone to specifically, and the girls were feeling it. After all, he had been gone for a bit to deal with Jusendo, and they had been hoping to “catch up” that night after the ruined wedding. Of course, in this timeline, it was ruined by both sisters. After all, if Akane married Ranma, then she would expect him in her bedroom every night, and that was assuming Akane could get over her own self-doubts to ride Mr. Horsie—the nickname Kasumi gave Little Ranma.

But now they would have to get Nodoka to reveal where Ranma was. With any luck, they could be on their way for a "visit with a friend from out of town" before dusk.

That was assuming of course that when they woke up, they’d be willing to go with one universe or the other.
