"What?" Ranma asked, frowning slightly. "Why not?"
"Other than the fact that I don't usually do that, and so I'd feel out of place?"
"There is that."
"Besides, I can't just change my plans with Yuka and Sayuri without talking to them first. And by the time that I do...."
"Lunch would be already over," he sighed.
"Or close to it."
"Which means that you'd have to work things out with them before hand."
"That's exactly it."
Blowing out a breath, Ranma nodded. "I guess that means that you joining me and Ucchan for lunch will be out."
"It sounds like you'd like me to be there."
"That would be a nice thing to have happen."
"You know, my objections are only personal feelings," his fiancee-turned-servitor told him. "I can't refuse you if you tell me to do something...."
"Get that idea out of your head right now. I'm not about to order you around like some sort of... of... dog. Things might have changed to give me this... power, but the idea of using it like that? Not going to ever feel good."
"I...."
He held up a hand and gave her a level look. "Listen. I want you to do what you want, when you want. The only times that I'll tell you what to do is when there's either a really big reason for it, or nothing to keep you from doing it. Understand."
"Yes, I understand."
"Good, because I sure as hell am not about to make your life miserable just for fun, or to make situations easy to handle for me."
"I'm glad...."
"For letting you be yourself? That's the only thing that I could...."
As she put a finger onto his lips, Akane's expression turned wry. "I mean, I'm glad that I've got you for a master."
"You are? Really?"
"I sure am. If nothing else, what you're saying now proves it."
"I don't know what to say...."
"Just take it as it is, Master. Besides, the idea of Kuno or one of those guys who used to mob me in the mornings having this sort of power over me would be the stuff of nightmares. You having it isn't so bad, especially compared to that sort of mess."
"Gee, thanks."
"You're welcome."
"Man.... I can just feel the stress coming on to me now," he muttered.
"It is?"
"Yup. I can feel lots of time spent trying to not mess things up coming in my future."
"Well, I know something that would make it better."
"What would that be?"
"This," she told him, and cupped his cheeks with her palms, so that she could lean in towards him. Her lips met his in an open mouthed kiss, where she made it clear that she had a hunger deep within her, and it wasn't for food. The feeling that he got from the moments when her breasts bumped and brushed against his chest made it clear as to what she was interested in. It was obvious that they could easily wind up in a rather intimate situation, pretty quickly.
But she pulled back, breathing hard in a way that had little to do with a lack of oxygen, and a whole lot to do with physical desire. A dark blush stole across her cheeks, and her smile was quick and shy as she barely managed to look in his eyes. After a moment, she got herself to look at his face with some confidence, though her pleased air made it clear that she wasn't ashamed of what she'd done.
Not that Ranma was complaining. "Whoa...."
"You like it?" she asked.
"Yeah...."
"That's good to hear."
"I'd hope so."
"Oh? Why?"
"Because of the fact that if we weren't in school, we'd be getting into some really... heavy stuff," the pigtailed boy admitted. "I'd seriously doubt that the teachers would like to have that going on in the halls."
"And I wouldn't want to put on a show for the school."
"Unfortunately, that also means that I'll be having to be dealing with the kiss for a while, since we can't.... We won't even have the time to have a long talk during school time."
"But I'll be available when we get home."
Her words left him simply staring at her as she flushed a bit, and pecked him on his cheek.
"I've got to get going to meet up with Yuka and Sayuri. 'Bye, Master."
"'Bye Akane," Ranma said, waving at her as he found himself sighing on how strange things were now, while:
