Thanks to a compulsive need to have things just right, Ranma could not resist it when she saw that the grandfather clock was set at a different time than all of the other clocks. It was a very large shock to have the clock she was fixing suddenly begin to slide sideways.
Ranma's face would have been a sight to see if there had been any witnesses. With a healthy dose of fear she frantically looked about trying to find the spirit which had moved that heavy looking clock.
Because of her searching she missed at first the opening that was being revealed from behind the moving object. When she finally did notice, she looked upon it with suspicion. 'It could be a portal to the spirit worlds or to somewhere even worse..' she thought with a shudder.
Her curiosity was too great to just leave it alone though. Cautiously, Ranma pushed one hand through the opening and then, when nothing happened, practically leaped through the hole in the wall.
Ranma walked quickly down the steps with a speed granted by both anxiousness and curiosity. What she found when she reached the bottom was a huge cave. Scattered about were computers the likes of which she had never seen before and some really cool looking vehicles. While Genma's stupid wishing with the genie, her outdated mother, and other things had conspired to make Ranma 'a lady' it didn't mean that she did not appreciate things such as the motorcycle, car, plane, and assorted other vehicles she saw in various spots of the cave.
Her mind jolted back into fear as she heard the sound of wings in the air. She looked upwards and saw a massive flight of bats moving through the cave. She quickly lost the fear in exchange for awe at seeing so many of the things at such a close range and tried to back up only to bump into something. Ranma turned around and stared at the cases full of bat-like costumes. 'What is this..' she thought curiously.
Her unspoken question was actually answered by a masculine voice, "Alfred told me it looked like you had gone down here. I suppose now that you've seen everything including my spare costumes that it is too late."
Ranma turned and stared at the man-like bat-creature standing before her in shock before what it had said combined with the other costumes in the cases became 2+2 for her. ".. Bruce..? Is that you..?"
