So... when Ranma turned into a girl from a guy, the female-only effects of the virus affected Ranma, despite the change and that it already affected the male half.
As such, she was made go got into heat, and become very very fertile. With that, she became pregnant.
This would prove a troubling nine months for Ranma due to a certain nature of the curse. If one of the cursed has one form as female(either as cursed or uncursed), and that form was now expecting a child, the cursed would be unable to change forms(a pleasant relief for cursed girls, but not those cursed to become girls). That nautre of the curse was added as the creator of the curses didn't want new life to be harmed by mistake.
So back in the real world...
