Then she just sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose. "Why do these things happen to me?"
Michiru looked up at the sound of her sister and let a small smile cross her face. "Why sister dear, why the unexpected visit?"
"I do have to wonder about what goes on around here," the other Kuno sibling murmured. "It isn't exactly what one could call... calm all the time."
"Do you mean my time with gymnastics? That was merely a phase."
"And now?"
"I believe that swimming will bring me great pleasure."
"Hopefully, it will. But remember that you really should settle down."
"As you have, sister?" Michiru commented lightly.
"That would be a welcome change. After all, I have secured a place for myself."
"Yes, one with our ancestors."
"Pardon me?"
"I hardly think that your fascination with history is all that simple, sister. You and your need to always act with such dignity and seriousness. It is fairly amusing at times."
"Oh, really...." the sea-green haired girl's sister drawled.
"But of course. For as long as I can remember, you've been ever so concerned with our family's 'place', and our 'responsibilities'."
"They are important."
"They are also what have you constantly looking to all sorts of odd activities for one of your age. One would almost think that you are trying to be an old matron before your time. Perhaps you have already have chosen a husband to complete that role, hmm, sister?"
"I do not think that I will be dignifying that with a response," Setsuna Kuno muttered, sparing her sister an admonishing frown.
It had taken several minutes for the situation to sink into Sailor Pluto's mind, but there was no denying it. The version of herself in this timeline was Setsuna Kuno, a nineteen year old who was an upper class young woman who tended to take her self perceived 'duty' to odd distances. She wore suits all the time, held the history of the clan to be of great importance, and even simply followed traditions just because they were there to do. This was someone who was of the type who would marry someone if her family, or expectations of her family, told her to do so.
It just seemed to be such an odd concept for her that she couldn't understand how this version of herself had come up with it.
Sighing to herself, she watched as this Setsuna continued on with her day, acting rather uptight, and overly dutiful. However, it wasn't about to change, so she knew that she'd already seen what she'd needed to. There was other work to be done, and she turned her attention to:
