She'd arranged for a few contests to be won, and had shipped a few potential problems to the area - where they would never more trouble the future she'd been assigned to protect.
Ranma Saotome was there of course. He was the one she most was trying to get out of this 'fate-tangle' that had him getting together with a Senshi.
The BIG problem was that the Sailor Senshi had teleported here, with Mercury interpreting the gathering energies as being some sort of Dark Kingdom or Negaverse eruption. Which was completely wrong if perfectly understandable.
Now the people who SHOULD NOT be here were meeting in their civilian identities, in a diner and one booth away from where Ranma Saotome was attacking a huge stack of pancakes.
Ranma slowed down, realizing that two of the girls in the next booth looked kind of familiar. Besides, he didn't have to protect food from his father's gluttony at present.
Ami was studying her computer, trying to figure out where the menace would appear. Hotaru saw a boy at the next booth who looked AWFULLY familiar. Could it be?
Others were present of course.
Sailor Pluto twitched as the counter went down to less than a minute. A wedding was taking place. A tour bus was arriving. Some old woman stopped on the sidewalk and regarded the skies as if she felt something.
Sailor Pluto tried to figure out what she could do, but even explaining the situation would take more time than she had.
Thirty seconds.
Panic, an unfamiliar emotion, swept through Pluto and she did something she had never done before. She froze as she tried desperately to think of a solution.
