The Fate of Books: The Power of Books is Amazing [Episode 162680]

by makutamon

Nabiki heard a strange sound echo throughout the house. When she went to find the source. She found Ranma dissolving into "gold dust" (at least it looked like it) and the "gold dust" was being sucked into the book he had just found. "RANMA!" She cried, but it was too late, the dust was gone, drawn into the book, and the book fell to the floor. Hurredly picking it up. She stared at the page that the book was open to. There was a moving picture in the top part of the book. But it was slowly fading to black. She then thought with tears in her eyes "What Happened? How would everyone take this?"

Ranma was in darkness. Everything around him was just black.

"Welcome Ranma." Said a voice behind him.

Ranma jumped slightly and turned around. Behind him stood a cloaked figure unlike any other he had seen. He had no distinguishing features, except these: Spearhead Bald; Pale as a vampire, but no red irises; A thin, sallow mouth; and the remains of eyes, nose and ears.

"Who Are You?" Ranma asked.

"My Name is not important, but what is is that you have accepted the quest."

"What Quest?" asked a perplexed Ranma.

"A quest that will decide the fate of the remnants of an entire civilization. Do not ask me anymore now, but the first part of the quest will boil down to one question, 'Whom Do You Trust?'"

And before ranma could ask any other questions the figure pulled his hood over his face and dissapeared (a better word would be "Merged") with the blackness as Ranma Lost Conciousness.
