The year it began was 2014 by the Earth calendar.
Galaxia had been and gone. The Death Busters were a long-forgotten memory. The Senshei were resting on their laurels, just waiting for the Great Freeze to come. Voldemort was a swiftly-fading memory as the wizarding world struggled to rebuild. Rumours of Decepticon activity flooded the streets, and the mutant question remained unresolved, just waiting to explode once more. Saffron's death had shaken the hidden cultures of China; ancient eyes turned south, watching the godslayer called Ranma Saotome as he continued his merry chaos. The Juraiain Empire watched and waited, searching for the excuse to take back its old colony.
It was an unstable peace, and it couldn't last.
All it would take was one spark.
Slowly, inevitably, that spark crept closer.
Until, on All Hallows Eve, that spark arrived, finally igniting the powder keg that was the city called Tokyo.
