Joachim's new day: Lost in the woods [Episode 162932]

Joachim’s booted feet crunched noisily across the crisp green grass, as he wandered through the forest completely lost. He grumbled annoyed that he hadn’t seen any sign whatsoever of people, or human habitation for that matter.

“This forest seems to go on forever! Is this it for me? Am I doomed to die alone and forgotten?!!” Joachim threw his head back in anguish and than paused as he watched a flock of birds fly high in the sky. His eyes narrowed as he began to think furiously, a idea slowly forming in his head.

“AHA! That’s it! The birds! They fly so free, seeing the world as a whole! I too need to expand my views! TO THE SKY!”

A small flash obscured his body for a moment, when it cleared a golden bat hovered in place of Joachim. Pausing to do a quick loop, the bat proceeded to gain altitude until it flew above the treetops.

“Hmm let’s see….forest, forest, oooh a clearing, a road…. And a walled village! Hurray I’m saved! …. I wonder if they have Tomato Juice.” Chuckling happily Joachim quickly flew towards the village he spotted.

Shortly thereafter, he found himself hovering near the edge of the walls inspecting one of the banners. He cocked his bat head curiously at the spiral shaped emblem with the cone on one side, before his entire body shook in an unexpected updraft.

He spread his wings wide to rise on the updraft, planning to coast down somewhere unseen to change back to human form. As he gained a higher perspective his ears twitched and he turned, swooping to a new area from which he thought he heard something.

He turned and swooped down to see…
