Akane sighed, tossing up and catching the pokeball a few times as she considered just leaving the pokeball behind.
Blackrose, which wasn't an uncommon name, was a little bit whacko. It wasn't that she was dumb, particularly. No, in the case of Blackrose it was more as if she was not quite in touch with the same reality as everyone else. In that self-reality of hers, she was the star.
On the other hand, a Plant type was strong against Water. Blackrose also took in CO2 and changed it to 02. She could influence plant growth and development, which WAS a very useful skillset here on Mars.
Could she put up with Blackrose though - that was the definite question. She wasn't as hostile towards Blackrose as that undine was, but putting up with the prima donna for any length of time was certainly going to be a test.
If she'd had the chance, she'd rather have gotten one of the others in her creche. Miyo the Psychic type would have been a good one to have, even if Miyo spent most of her time asleep. Her friends Yuka and Sayuri would have been good choices - neither of them had significant powers but they had done pretty good in developing various useful skills. Even Silver's friend Ryonami would have added something to their group.
