The Gundam Wing Variations - Blood Pledge: The Beginning [Episode 163119]

Noin stopped, then. And stared.

And then she muffled a laugh.

Treize Khushrenada was there, true. Fully dressed in the most ornate quasi-Dark Age style outfit, complete with something that appeared to be a sword, and boots.

He also was half sitting in the not-really-a-natural-hot-spring bath, and sopping wet to boot.

"Instructor Treize, just what are you..."

And it was exactly that moment that she noticed his hair.

It was down to his shoulders, and tied back with a cord.

Only this evening...it hadn't been that long, had it?

Which meant...which meant...

Lucrezia Noin sighed, then.

Longer hair. And...those rings on his fingers...

And his eyes. Did he look older, just a little?

Not to mention the arm-cuffs. And the...other things.

(That's why you should pay attention to dreams, Lucrezia)

"...Instructor Treize. Get out of those clothes and get dry. - I'll cut your hair, all right?"

Not that he was really her Instructor any more, but whatever, whatever.

Treize gave her a puzzled look, but nodded.

It's alright, Your Majesty. Stay puzzled a for just little more, and ask me no questions.

And your Sage will tell you no lies.

It took him more time then she thought it would for him to get washed up and dressed, and she guessed he was probably more hurt and tired then he'd been letting on.

He did eventually arrive, though, and made no more then a token protest when she sat him down, whisked the towel around his shoulders and started clipping at his hair.

It really was pretty long, she decided...how many months worth? And that was assuming he hadn't had a haircut since she'd seen him last.

The earstuds were nice, though. Glamour batteries, eh?

He nodded off on the chair while she was wondering what to do next. Dreams, stupid dreams, they tell you and show you so much but never the really important things...

And he was thin, damnit.

Just what was going on - There, anyway? Lack of food was rarely a problem in Mazoku territory... Especially to somebody in his position.

She bit her lip.

...She'd have to set up so kind of scanning device, if she couldn't find any pre-arranged caches of same. The Sage always tried to plan for the future, but...

Ahh, well, if wishes were Magitools nobody would go without.

She'll do something. The Sage always did.

Yes.

Lucrezia walked over to the window. The clouds where being swept over the skies, and the stars were cold.

Yes.
