The Multiversal Varietions (2): Athena goes proactive - sort of [Episode 163500]

Something distinctly odd and unsettling was happening in the Multiverse in general, many, many timelines were Darkening when they shouldn't be, and her good friend Cosmos (or rather, her Avater) had gone on on a Quest, which meant Cosmos Herself was fast asleep for the duration, and the Goddess Athena was bored.

Very, very bored. Not to mention rather...frightened, to call it what it was, she supposed...

She was the Goddess of Battle and Wisdom, and she didn't handle being frightened too well, frankly. Or being bored.

Damn. She hadn't been this unsettled since...what was that time? She'd been temporarily mortal, as she sometimes was wont to do, and fighting with her Saints...now who had been that boy...Pegasus. Whatver.

And she hated feeling this...useless, frankly...

Wasn't there something she could do?

Like...researching the Multiverse. Of course, she'd tried that before, but...

It had to be better then just waiting around.

Yes. She'd do it.

She'll just keep poking and poking, and see were her intuition led her. Her intuition might not be as good as Cosmos, but it still wasn't anything to sneer at.

Yes. It was time to do something, instead of playing a waiting game...
