Pluto Plucks The Strings (V2) - To Spread The Seeds: Seeds Of Potential [Episode 163825]

by Linnara

OK, time to take a closer look at this new bright shiny world, then. Well, it was bright and shiny to her, at least, even if to the people living there, it was just the same old world they'd always lived in, she supposed. Hmmph. Let's see if she could find the Senshi, for starters....

****************

The shots rang out endlessly in the silence of the now deserted bridge.

Bullets were ricocheting everywhere, but it did not matter. Not any more.

The purple-eyed woman thought of a certain commander, and a certain captain, and for the last time, looked at the blonde man who was still trying to kill her, even now, when it was too late...

(You shouldn't have tried to talk to me. You shouldn't have tried to make me understand. You became real, fears, insanity, and all...)

She wondered idly, then, what might have happened if they had met someplace else. On a Uni campus, or something. He would have been some kind of fanatic anyway, she was almost certain.

Or maybe not.

But that did not matter any more, either.

Setsuna was the only one that saw the Marks that flickered on both there foreheads, just moments before the bridge burned brighter then a thousand suns...

They'd killed each other. They'd killed each other.

Why? Why? Why?

She put her knuckles to her lips, and tried to think.

Thinking was, as it quite often was, overrated.

***************************

Scanners wrr'd, showing her a woman with marigold eyes.

And a man covered with bandages.

A purple-eyed and brown-haired young man, with a blond girl that looked strangely like him. Next to them sat a young man with blue hair, talking with a pink-haired young woman over cupcakes and tea. A one-armed man sat near by, trying to pour himself coffee.

...And...OK, wait a minute....

She stopped.

Better try this again.

****************

Setsuna Meiou sat at the Time Gate, and fidgeted.

She was being...drawn thin, seemed to be the only word to come to mind.

She would have to leave this place, she knew that, somehow. But when she did...

She thought about it. And thought about it some more.

And then, downloaded as much information as possible in as many of the Time Gate's functions as she could think of. Including her own memories, even though she knew that they'd just be a pale frozen shadow of the original.

And then, she took a deep breath.

And walked out of the Gate.
