"Yeah..." The former Tennou Haruka whispered too, while the former Kaiou Michiru just smiled wistfully, watching Usagi pack the food away along with a certain girl other girl at her table, while a pink-haired young lady smiled at both of them with a slightly dazed look.
The Goddess Athena smiled a bit sadly, then. Though Cosmos was a good camarade and even better friend - she could guess what the others were feeling.
It wasn't like she still didn't miss "Seiya" sometimes, after all - even though she knew full well just were the Being who used to be one Pegasus Saint was, and considered him (or her, or it) to be one of her close associates - it just wasn't the same, somehow.
But - Athena sighed again, then. For quite a different reason this time.
The Annual Canon Mary Sue / Gary Stu Convention? Whyyyy?
Not that the former Ami, Haruka and Michiru seem to be much concerned with such things.
"OK, then, what's the game plan?" Ami asked.
"I suggest the KISS principle be strictly observed. We just go in as who we used to be."
Haruka said, and Michiru nodded at that.
"So I'm supposed to just go as... Kido Saori?"
"Why not? It's not like she knows you at all, if she's about the age I think she is, but we'll just introduce you as a friend."
Alright, then. It seemed like a plan...
"Besides, if I understand this correctly, they're mostly going to think they had a very strange dream when this is over, right? We wouldn't have to worry about Usa-chan asking who we used to be about meeting us, I don't think..."
True.
And it also did seem to be a chance to meet a fair amount of, let her say, interesting people, too.
A fair amount of time later, the four came wandering back to the "room" they were investigating in, somewhat tipsy-ly. Not that their "bodies" actually got drunk without them wanting them to, now - but it was the principle of the thing.
Athena sighed. More people had been coming in, even after they arrived, and... One of them had been ... "Seiya". The old "Seiya". If she'd known he'd be there, beforehand...
The Goddess of Wisdom and War might have chickened out, frankly. Ahh, well, that was life. Bittersweet, more often then not...
Though it had been...Interesting, she did have to admit.
"So what do we do now?"
"Actually... I think we should try checking out some other timeline clusters, now..."
Haruka, Michiru, and Ami all nodded at that.
"That Ranma boy's, maybe? Or maybe something else...?"
