"Well, I'll go find my father and head back to Japan," said Ranma, reaching down to pick up his backpack.

"Maybe Mister Customer should find clothes that fit better, yes?" asked the Guide.
"That might be a good idea," agreed Ranma.
Shampoo was sulking about not getting her horsie when she spotted the boy entering the village.
It was hard NOT to notice him, as he was constantly having to shift around his clothing to keep it in place.
"(Another one attacked by those weird monsters running around?)" asked Lin-lin.
"(Most likely,)" agreed Shampoo. "(Some have very bizarre attack manuevers.)"
"(Yeah, that sparkly cloud that hit Mousse was very impressive,)" said Ran-ran. "(Or at least the effects on Mousse were.)"
"(He's still paralyzed,)" pointed out Shampoo, indicating the pigeons who were nesting on the near-sighted boy's head.
"(Maybe THIS will teach him to wear his glasses more often,)" said Lin-lin.
"(Guy's got a cute butt,)" pointed out Lin-lin. "(Probably a good runner.)"
"(Yeah,)" admitted Shampoo. "(I noticed. Course with those rips in his pants, it's hard NOT to notice.)"
"(Hey, one of those bull-things is charging through town again,)" said Ran-ran, pointing down a side street. "(Who's turn is it?)"
"(Mine,)" admitted Shampoo, hopping to her feet. "(This is getting old REALLY quick.)"
Ranma didn't have much money, and so he got used clothing that didn't fit too well. It was still better than what he'd had on and none of his old clothes fit - and he was able to use those as trade-ins.
Now he just had to find his father and get back to Japan. How hard could that be?
