"Aka!"
A few seconds prior, Nabiki and Kasumi had been curious about the strange shouts they'd heard coming from the other room. Kasumi wondered if Akane needed to see some sort of doctor, and Nabiki joked to herself about her sister trying to write the Akanelujah Chorus. This didn't seem to matter much now, since they were both swallowed in red light pulling them towards some egg shells or Whoppers™ candy or something. Kasumi sighed "Oh, dear," as usual, while Nabiki only had time to stutter "Urk!"
Ranma, Ukyo, and AKANE♀ watched dumbfounded as the balls rocked back and forth for a bit, then clicked shut securely. Each reacted in a similar fashion.
Ranma may seem slow, but he can think quickly when he has to, and he recognized this as an emergency. He calmly reached for the closest Pokéball - acting with uncharacteristic tact because he realized that the last thing they needed was for AKANE♀ to be spooked by any sudden movements.
Ukyo watched with horror as the Pokéballs claimed two more victims. She pondered what terrors these devices could work for a moment before she realized that the best thing to do was to get them out of there as quickly as possible. Guessing that only the owner of the balls could get them to work, she nervously reached for the closest Pokéball.
AKANE♀ saw her beloved sisters swallowed up by these creepy little toys that these idiots were playing with. She snatched up both balls before those two could screw things up further.
"I don't know what you two morons had in mind, but you'll only make things worse! I'm going to save my sisters myself, and you two can just- just- go jump in a lake or something!" said AKANE♀. Or, at least, she would have, but for various reasons it came out as "Ka aka ne ne Tendo, a aka ten Tendo! a aka akaneten aka ten akane ne- ne- akane ten ten tendo!"
"Wait!" said Ukyo.
Akane showed no signs of waiting. Instead, she showed signs of rage and violence, so Ranma and Ukyo stood back a bit while AKANE♀ went to work. Ranma considered intervening when AKANE♀ demonstrated her methodology, since her process for getting her sisters out of the Pokéballs was rather like her process for getting yolk out of an egg. He respectfully yielded to her judgment when she glared at him for even daring to interrupt. Ukyo decided to pick up the manual, hoping for some hints in the fine print. She hoped they could solve this before something terrible happened, or at least before the sounds of AKANE♀ mashing the balls against the edge of the table gave her a migrane.
