Then it stopped, staring at the moon coming over the horizon. The half-moon. "Grarr?"
When the Phoenix troops finished gathering for a counter attack, the ape had vanished.
"AGHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" declared Ryoga Hibiki. "I TURN INTO A GIRL?!"
"Is terrible tragic story sir," said the Guide, pointing to a picture. "You turn into Bulma Briefs."
"What?!" asked Ryoga, looking over the manga. "WHY AM I... Dragonball?!"
"Yes, is terrible tragic story," said the Guide.
"Well, no, I've read some of it, it's kinda like 'Journey To The West' on acid," said Ryoga. "Never cared for it. I just grab old 'Shonen Jump' when I see them discarded. You can read them and then use them as toilet paper or start fires. Never use them for both."
"Guide imagine not," said the Guide, looking a bit disgusted.
"I turn into a girl, could there be anything WORSE?!" yelled Ryoga.
"Ay-tatta-ta-taiiii," said the little boy as he rubbed his head. He had come down from somewhere and whacked his head. Fortunately it was a fairly hard head.
"Who is this?" asked some guy with wings, holding a spear ready and keeping an eye out for big dang apes who could do credible Godzilla impressions.
"Just some villager who ended up lost with that monster attacking," offered another guy with wings. "Some kid."
"No telling how many places that monster destroyed," said the girl with wings. "You two - spiral search pattern. See if you can find some adults. They may have more information on that monster."
She waited until the two underlings were gone before dropping the iron control. (GLOMP-A-DOOM!) "KEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWT!"
