As icebergs formed in Tokyo Harbor, Ken prepared a laser powered by Chemical Z. His father, Professor Utonium, warned him that the Chemical Z wasn't perfected yet. Ken fired the laser anyway and the iceberg was destroyed. Four blobs of white light and one blob of black light scattered from the iceberg and headed off to strike different people. The blob of black light struck a monkey in a zoo and changed him. He gained a costume, intelligence and powers.
"I shall rule the world. Mojo. The puny humans will be put in cages. Mojo," the monkey now calling himself Mojo Jojo declared.
Mojo sniffed the air and said, "I smell something sweet."
Mojo Jojo jumped up through the roof of the cage and saw some children eating candy.
"Ah candy!" Mojo declared.
One of the blobs of white light struck the Utonium's robot dog, Peach.
"That was interesting," Peach said.
"Peach can talk!" Ken yelled in shock and disbelief
"I wonder where the other lights are going," Professor Utonium said.
Well, in the actual course of events the light would have struck three girls first and turned them into the Powerpuff Girls Z, but since this is not the normal course of events...
