Cheetah-Ranma & the Princesses: Reactions all around [Episode 167840]

by The Demented Redhead

“Okay dear,” said Theo, entering Brianna’s room, several spells ready in case he had been called due to out-of-control peebos again. “What did you ... want ...to... Grave?”

“It is a pleasure to meet you, Father,” said Grave bowing. “I hope I can be an excellent member of this family.”

Theo blinked, before he turned to Brianna, who was trying to appear as small as possible. “Brianna, please be kind enough to explain.”

“Well, you see ... I wanted to ... Well...” she finished, scratching the back of her head.

Snorting, Grave decided to explain. “My sister here decided to play with Instant Jusenkyo. As a result, I popped out, and I would like to live a full and peaceful life, thank you very much.”

“I see,” said Theo, turning a grim face to his daughter. “We will discuss your playing with magical forces later.”

“Yes sir,” said the depressed girl.

“Now Grave,” said Theo, turning to his neo-daughter, “I hope you remember the rules and will obey them. I don’t want to deal with the same problems as before.”

“Trust me, Daddy,” she said, “not a problem. You won’t have me going postal on anyone here.”

“And if they upset you?” he asked.

“Hey, I didn’t fry sis here when she tried to send me back to oblivion ... twice.”

Theo nodded. “Very well. I’ll call Gina and Brittney up here so they can meet you, and they can get used to a peaceful Grave Digger living here. As long as you act like a full member of the family, I have no problem with you being around.”

“Thank you, sir,” said Grave, as Theo left.

They never saw him tear up. Finally, a daughter with magical talent!

“See, that wasn’t so bad,” said Grave, smiling.

Brianna wanted to cry. She knew after her family got finished with her, even if Grave was on the level, she’d never see the outside world again.

Sheila sighed as she watched Ranma and Julia spar. She hadn’t been able to corner him before he had to spar with Julia, and the Armsmaster of Jade was not giving him any quarter. In fact, she was going harder on him for being late.

It was probably quite lucky Ranma was a were-cheetah now—or perhaps his bad luck since Julia could not use moves that would normally kill a human on him now—since the regeneration was sometimes all that kept him going. Even Sheila had never seen someone heal as quickly as Ranma was, the wounds disappearing in seconds that would have taken a normal were minutes to repair. It seemed that even his healing had been augmented by the change.

Of course, what Sheila wasn’t considering was that Julia was also going after him for sleeping with Brianna. It wasn’t that she didn’t think the two would do each other some good. She was positive Ranma could use the ... release ... and a role model for females not after his soul at times. And Brianna did need someone who could tell her no at times.

“You better not be holding back against me because I’m a woman, Student!” yelled Julia, missing Ranma with a roundhouse kick, and switching to an ax chop.

“Not a chance,” said Ranma. “I ain’t going to go easy on you! You made me promise on my honor not to!”

With that, the two became a blur, Julia matching his enhanced speed, as Ranma was still becoming accustomed to it. But she could see that she would have to change their spars to his human form within the week. The boost was almost enough to compensate for the skill difference, and she knew he’d never learn enough with such boosts.

No; Ranma preferred to learn things the hard way, and with as little of an easy power-up as possible. For now, these spars would be to get him used to his new form. After all, she and Theo had no idea what the full possible effects of the change would be on him. His body was still somewhat chaotic with the magical change, and even Theo was uncertain if it was a permanent change, or would wear off over time.

Let him enjoy it for now. I for one don’t want to tell him it might not last.

Her thoughts were cut off as Ranma got a good shot in to her stomach, forcing some wind out, and sending her back. “Nice shot, Student. It’ll be the last one you get!”

And with that, the battle was renewed.

Chaos began to grow in Nerima, as people began to look for the favorite pigtailed target.

Of course, this was mostly ignored by Princess Tyr, as she approached the Tendo Dojo. With luck, the younger sisters would be out searching for Ranma, and she would only need to contend with the two fathers and perhaps the kind, older sister Ranma had told her about when they occasionally chatted.

Knocking on the door, she waited, steeling her nerves. She didn’t want to let on she was a fiancée in any possibility. So, she began rehearsing her cover story.

Genma had made a contract with her family, specifying that he would perform certain services for a fee, in exchange also for his life being sparred. As such, he was found to be default in those services, and she needed to contact him to see not only why, but exercise punishment if need be.

If she could, she would stall any talk about marriage. While it was her father’s wish, she didn’t want to add pressure onto her friend ... even if his new form just made her want to paw at him like a fish-steak dinner.

Bringing herself back to full alertness as she heard someone walking to answer the gate, she prepared to present her case.
