Dragon Prince: Akane to the Rescue [Episode 168871]

by The Demented Redhead

Now Akane was never the brightest light bulb in the chandelier. She typically went after something based solely on her first perceptions of it, with those perceptions forever coloring those targets and the decisions made about them.

It was the reason she always saw Ranma as a pervert. Her first perception of him when she had learned of his curse was that he did perverted things to it, because that is what the Hentai Horde would do. Thus the idea of Ranma being a pervert was coloring all of her decisions about him, in one manner of another.

After all, Ranma shouldn’t place himself in the paths of girls so they end up hugging him, right?

That wasn’t to say she didn’t care for him on some level. But that was a case of inner desires often being equated with being improper or inner demons of some type, conflicting with ego. As a result, she would never make a first move unless someone else brought a conflict into her life. If she knew for a fact (assumed) someone would get Ranma a present, then ego demanded that she get him a better one.

So now we have a new situation going through her mind. Ranma had gone to a world the dragon sent him to. No doubt he had either done something perverted to the dragon to be banished, or there were going to be girls in that world that might let him be a pervert.

Then that pervert dragon had offered to let the other hussies go with him, and that cross-dressing chef had gone.

Finally, Kasumi had somehow been forced to go; no doubt to be a sex slave of Ranma’s. She’d be forced to cook, clean, and do perverted stuff all day.

Never mind the fact that Kasumi had no social life, and only cooked and cleaned all day for them.

So, Akane Mental Processor VI began to slowly build up steam, dividing processing time between illusions of what Ranma would now be doing, and what she could do to “save the world from the pervert”. After all, what did she know about this new world?

There were dragons there, she knew that much. They were perverts too.

Didn’t dragons sleep with lots of gold?

Smiling, she darted towards her remaining sister who was counting her money. When dealing with pervert rich and mercenary dragons, you needed a perverted and mercenary person who could deal with them.

At least Akane didn’t think she could defeat the dragon. There is something to be said for the instinct of self-preservation being able to deal with ego. It may not have been logical, but then again Akane was far from being a Vulcan.

“Sis, I need your help!”

Nabiki nodded, counting all the money she had made selling the information, almost drooling at the treats she could pick up. “You know the standard fee, Akane.”

“Add it to my tab,” she yelled, before grabbing the outstretched hand of Nabiki that had been out to receive said money.

Before Nabiki knew what was happening, both turned into little motes of light, entering the portal. Only one sound remained of their presence.

“AKANE NO BAKA!”

On the ground, Soun Tendo cried.

His eldest daughter had left him. Now who would take care of...? I mean, how could he take care of her? She wasn’t meant for the harshness of the world.

His youngest had gone to bring back her fiancé. It must be true love.

His middle daughter had left ... without telling him the bank that their money was stored.

So he cried.

What? You expected him to go after them?
