Fallout Boy: Werecats of Arabia [Episode 169048]

by lil bunny MoFo

"Damn... middle of the desert," Tirga said in disappointment. "Dr. Diggers has to work on his aim."

All around the two werecats was a vast expanse of powder-white sand as far as the eye could see. Off in the distance was the tip of a mountain poking up out of the heat distortion rising up off of the surface of the terribly hot sands. Almost immediately, the two began to sweat from the heat which was made even worse by the fact that their fur trapped the arid climate far too well.

Grumbling at the sudden change of temperature from what they were used to, both werecats transformed into their human forms. Tirga shrank about a foot to a still respectable 6'4", while Sheila filled out her purposefully-loose clothing very well as she attained her full height of 7'6". Now they were a bit cooler, but still miserable under the burning sun.

"What's the bracelet say?" Sheila asked as she pulled out her desert clothing. When they had packed, every situation had been planned for, from landing in the middle of an ice floe to the middle of a desert.

"Hmm?" Tirga grunted while looking down his bent-over wife's cleavage. The sun was hitting her chest just right so that the sweat trapped between her cleavage glistened in a very sexy manner.

When Tirga didn't answer for a few seconds, Sheila looked up from what she was doing. Her eyes tracked the path of Tirga's vision, and she couldn't help but smirk as she saw a trickle of drool pool at the edge of her husband's mouth. "Like what you see?"

Tirga shook himself to snap out of his lascivious trance. "Aheh. Sorry 'bout that."

"Good to know you still find your old wife attractive," Sheila teased.

That was laugh. Of course Tirga still found Sheila attractive. Neither of them had lost much in the way of looks over the years, in large part due to their werecat heritage. Although werecreatures didn't really live all that much longer than humans, the looks they did attain would take much longer to fade than a human. Even though Tirga and Sheila were 46 and 45 respectively, they appeared to be in their early thirties at the oldest.

Sheila had changed the most. Her human form stayed mostly the same, but her hybrid form had lost some of it's cuteness, replacing it with a matronly air. On regular occasions, Sheila still wished her hybrid form had the strength and power instead of her human form, but right now, she was glad that she could stay cooler while retaining most of the advantages of being a jagwere.

Tirga snorted. "Yeah right, like I'd ever get tired of you." He pulled Sheila into a loving embrace and leaned up to kiss her passionately.

Both broke away from the kiss shortly afterwards. There would be time for that later, but for now they needed to get to work. "So, about the bracelet?" Sheila asked expectantly.

"Oh, right." Tirga held up the magical locator and looked at it closely. "Can't really tell. There's too much sun out here."

Sheila shielded her eyes as she gazed up into the sky. "It won't be night for at least several more hours, so we can't astronavigate to find out where on Earth we are either."

"We might not be able to use the stars. Remember, this might not even be an alternate Earth. This could be an alternate Jade, or another world entirely."

Sheila looked back at her husband. "Do you really think THIS could be Jade?" she asked, holding her arms out to encompass the endless sands.

"You never know. The Westerlands are pretty desolate. If a big enough catastrophe went down, the Rolling Wastes could have turned into this."

Sheila frowned at her husband. "Way to be a help, Tirga."

The ex-Edge Guard member shrugged. "Just trying to be realistic."

"So, which way?"

Tirga removed a compass from his pocket and took a reading. "That way's North. Anything cooler than this has to be good."

"What if we're in the Southern hemisphere?" Sheila asked mischievously.

Eyes narrowed in annoyance, Tirga turned back to the huge woman. "Now who's not being helpful?"

"Just trying to be realistic," Sheila said with a waggle of her eyebrows.

Tirga sighed and placed the compass back in it's place. A few minutes later, Tirga and Sheila had themselves dressed up in their desert gear. Loose fitting clothes, complete with headwraps and goggles, covered most of their bodies except for the lower face. Tirga was disappointed that Sheila was so swaddled that very little of her could seen, but that was better than harsh sunburn. With no fur to cover them, every precaution had to be taken.

Tirga squared his shoulders. "Let's get going."
