When people come across situations where they have little personal experience they tend to react initially based on preconceptions.
A young woman like Kasumi that found herself a man one day might face such a situation. Now it would be entirely possible that the now young man would continue on with little change to the situation, but perhaps there might be a reaction for a variety of reasons.
The first most obvious thing might be that the young man might still pursue males sexually. Even if the newly minted guy didn’t have anything against male-love however, he might be unaware of how to search for interested men. He might also consider the actual sexual mechanics of the situation and find them unappealing or disgusting, again based on preconceptions since the majority of gay males don’t actually focus on anal sex. There were also of course the social implications of acceptance of such a life style.
On the other hand the newly minted male might continue to act and dress female, perhaps going into cross dressing to pull off the look better. That might bring him into the gay community with some support from the cross dressing community.
In the other direction however this new male might consider it natural that guys and girls get together for sexual and social reasons. He might still want children for instance and some men did the cooking these days. In this case he might act in the way he considered a guy should act as a boyfriend. He likely wouldn’t prove initially interested in girls, but by going through the motions of acting like a boyfriend he might find the actual sex unexpectedly enjoyable.
People dealing with sudden sex changes tended to act based on what they thought of the opposite sex, either rebelling against the ideal or accepting it by default. Most tended to use their sexual ideals as a basis, thus either thinking everyone would treat them like a slut by default or acting like one. A weaker boy that was surrounded by powerful women on the other hand might take to being turned into a woman positively by emulating those strong women.
This applied to other areas as well. Kasumi for instance had just been convinced that by not being the mature woman in a relationship with Ranma and showing him how to be a proper lover, that Kasumi had behaved most improperly.
If that were something she was considering at her own pace she might have approached the situation as an older girlfriend. However in living in the same house as Ranma she had kept herself from considering an actual relationship with Ranma other than a purely fantasy one when her imagination wondered to sexual desires.
Which was why Kasumi was currently imagining herself as Ranma’s sex-slave as a proper thing instead of something more sedate like loving girlfriend. Also since her mental image of such a thing was basically her wearing high heels, an apron, a collar and a smile, she had realized she needed a collar.
Others around her might have pointed out that she was jumping into the deep end, but when Kasumi Tendo suddenly proclaimed she needed to go shopping for a nice collar to wear, anyone that cared was too mentally stunned to say anything about it. Which was why Akane was walking with Kasumi on a little shopping trip since Kasumi was now taking responsibility for how poorly Akane had behaved around Ranma.
Once again back to preconceptions, no one knew how to deal with a Kasumi on the path to being an eager sex-slave when she seemed convinced it was the right and proper thing to do. In time they might think of a reaction but by then the moment would have long since passed. Akane for instance would be mentally stunned until she got some time alone to actually clear her mind and think, and by then it might be a bit late for her.
Off in a hotel room, the issue was a bit different for Ranma and Herb.
For Ranma he was well aware of his own issues with being a part-girl and all the concerns that came with it.
For Herb, she came from a male society where most of their women had possessed simple animal minds and had been treated part way between pets and breeding stock. They had recently stopped using Junsenkyou so much and were taking normal human women as brides, but her people were still firmly lodged in the past for the most part.
The princess was aware of girl-on-girl love, but no longer being male some of her passion for having sex with a girl was gone. She was still interested in them, but with the simple mechanics of slapping hips gone the passion wasn’t quite as strong.
Herb’s ideal of a girl was a woman suitable to marry, ideally something of princess. As a girl herself she naturally preferred the role of warrior princess, particularly acting properly and with refinement. Herb hadn’t desired a stupid or weak wife either, so that helped a lot with her self image.
She did respect Ranma as well. Despite what had happened between them, when Ranma had won he’d simply let Herb go. That was notable because Herb in the case of defeating Ranma would have relocked the martial artist as a female again and perhaps tried to forcibly claim her as a wife after seeing such a demonstration of strength.
There was also the benefits of being a woman in Japan. She could get a job if she wanted a career, but she could enjoy the life of a noble wife here as they treated women fairly well. There were submissive notes to such a life, but by the standards of Musk it was hardly demeaning. Compared to the standards of the Musk being bound in shibari in teased with a feather until she was panting with desire sounded quite pleasant, almost romantically sweet.
This all lead to a very interesting situation as Herb realized Ranma was refusing to think of her sexually.
Unable to resist the impulse, Herb found herself advancing on Ranma with a grin, the young man backing up from her. Eventually his back met a wall, allowing Herb to actually catch him, causing her a little confusion about what to actually do with him once in hand. While she didn’t have an interest in his body, the sudden power she had over him was quite thrilling.
Smiling up at Ranma, Herb enjoyed this feeling as she did want to take pride in herself.
So Herb found herself unbuttoning Ranma’s shirt and exposing his bare chest for her inspection. She found herself actually admiring the view a bit since as a martial artist she could appreciate those toned muscles. If she had to have a man, this was the sort of body she wanted to see.
Suddenly curious she moved further south, undoing his pants to see just what sort of equipment the future father or her children was packing.
That was enough however to get Ranma to grab her hands in shock. “What are you doing?”
This made Herb consider what she was doing and she found herself surprisingly pleased with her impetuous mood. She’d thought that when it came to actual sex she might have to be tied up, having a book on shibari and some silk rope for just such an occasion.
As she was now discovering however mood mattered a lot for sex and she was enjoying being the sexually aggressive one. The idea of just laying back and getting screwed was unsatisfying but she had never considered actively seducing Ranma.
Herb was still essentially a male at heart in many ways, and what was driving her right now was a desire to be sexually aggressive and active. Simply passively accepting sex felt demeaning in comparison and was no longer acceptable for her. Also more typical of a male she was only thinking about sex, romance and other such things could come after she’d officially become a woman.
Enjoying being on the attack, Herb was not going to simply give up, leveling a grin up at her chosen. “Getting into your pants, obviously.”
Ranma on the other hand was obviously having trouble dealing with the situation. “You can’t be serious.”
The princess found herself at peace with her chosen role in life. “Oh yes. There is some nice silk rope and a shibari manual here, so if you’re ready to claim me, I will submit to being bound. I am giving myself to you, so the one thing I won’t accept is you not taking me. If you’re not prepared to make me a woman, the idea of tying you to the bed and riding you is starting to sound like fun.”
Ranma looked at the dragon woman and saw the determination in her eyes. Other concerns out of mind now the situation was much more simple, either they were about to have sex or Ranma would call her bluff to see if Herb was really prepared for this.
