Now, despite the many jokes about him, Soun's not a stupid man, and he is an excellent martial artist. Foolish, emotionally unstable, and often short-sighted, but not stupid, nor lacking in skill in the Art. So, with Nodoka making a very obvious play for him, he did the sensible thing: he reacted without thinking, and flung her down the length of the corridor, followed by giving Genma a kick in rear - he was her husband, after all.
Genma was of a slightly different opinion, he knew that Nodoka even normally could be rough, and with those claws, she could leave him needing stitches! So he reacted, being an equally trained martial artist, to Soun's kick by rolling with it, coming up standing, and launching a flurry of hand strikes, hoping his wife wolud content herself with whichever man happened to get tossed at her.
The animal at the end of the hall spread her wings, lungs pumping in lust as the males battled for dominance and the right to mate her. Her instincts were screaming at her from one side to mate one of them, and the other to find the strongest, and between them the Nodoka-bat was reduced to a profound state of ready tension.
