Lamp Of Mihoshi: Misato's skepticism [Episode 17048]

Misato listened to Shinji going on and on and on. "Yeah. Right. You have a nightmare or something?"

"Look, how about I tell you about your past," said Shinji and began doing so. Every dirty little detail. About Kaji. About her relationship with her father. About her visits to Germany to meet with Asuka and the security guard that had frisked her and turned her on. He went into her past in great detail, forcing himself to ignore her glassy eyed stare and shocked look and how she began to twitch.

"So -" Misato eventually said. "I need a drink."

"Then what?" Shinji asked.

"Then I proceed to get very very drunk," said Misato. "Shinji. If it is for real. And this is going on. What do we do?"

"I was hoping you would know," said Shinji.

Misato and Shinji proceeded to get very drunk. When they woke up and had recovered somewhat they discovered that

• Mihoshi had left them a present.
• Rei was sitting in the kitchen, looking as if she hasn't slept much. Turns out she showed up halfway through the party and two very sloshed NERV personnel gave her the gory details.
• NERV personnel had put microphones in the apartment.
• something else
