Pluto and Saturn looked at each other, and then back to Ryouga.
"Very well, then - But what about, uh, A*0-1 and our Uranus?"
Ryouga sighed.
"Yes, yes, I was just coming to that... I said already that there was a whole bunch of Beings, Senshi and not, who ended up all karmatically tangled up with A*0-1, I think. Well, your Uranus - Linsha, or "Kina" as A*0-1 seems to remember her- was a latecomer, sort of, and started out as an out-and-out enemy of A*0-1 if I remember it right, but later on - well, they tended to end up - closer. Oh, it wasn't just her, most of us were her sibs or even parents at least once, but - well."
Ryouga groaned. How to put this?
"For instance, when A*0-1 was Benare - that's the one who'd been taken over by the parasite, if you recall - your Uranus was Kiri, her elder foster-brother and cousin. They were close, and when he couldn't save her - ahh, well. And when A*0-1 was Lancran - that's the one who turned out to be not the real Princess - your Uranus was Kiri, her boyfriend-n-girlfriend... Kiri being a gender-shifter, that was. And - "
"Uh."
Saturn muttered.
"Is that bad luck, or what?"
"What was she to you?"
Neptune asked quietly. Uranus looked up at the starry skies.
"...'Overkill'?"
"Yes."
Uranus sighed.
"For a long, long time, I used to get reincarnated near her, him or it, almost every single time. With a bunch of other people, mind. Sometimes enemies, sometimes friends, sometimes comrades, sometimes all of the above... And then, that... stopped."
With Ha'shel. But she wasn't going to tell Neptune about Ha'shel.
Or Locraine. Another self. Who had been Ha'shel's twin.
For all the good that had been, in the end.
Not now. Perhaps, never.
"Aaaaah."
Neptune murmured.
Ha'shel System-Killer. Who'd killed the Star System she'd been born in in that incarnation, and - went elsewhere. Because the others didn't kowtow to her worship her love her like she thought she needed deserved craved-
Ahhh, Ha'shel...
"But it's interesting how thing work out, eh?"
Uranus murmured, quietly.
"And then, I met the others. And you."
"Alright, and let's see... Silicore. When A*0-1 was Silicore, your Uranus wasn't related to her, or her Significant Other, but - in some ways, it was even worse, I suppose. Tanzanium - as Silicore ended naming her - was one of the first experiments in artificially Linking De-Linked Senshi Starseeds to no-active-Senshi-for-the-moment planets and such, and well, Silicore was a mad scientist's assistant in the worst way, then. But the saddest thing is, in my opinion, that when Silicore said Tanza was her best friend, she probably wasn't lying, not really. Silicore did not have any friends worth speaking of. At all. Except somebody who she considered an experiment and a tool and was quite willing to kill once she had become 'inconvenient', that is."
Ryouga looked up at the skies. Silicore wasn't somebody he enjoyed thinking about.
"But those are just some of the worst examples, you know. It's not like their relationships were that tramatizing all the time..."
"Hmmm. I see."
Pluto murmured, while Saturn just looked sad.
