"Eww... this means that I was going to marry my half brother!?" Akane screamed, confused.
"Well um no, not exactly," Genma started sweating.
"I don't like where this is going," Nabiki stated, shivering slightly at the thought of wanting Ranma, like that...
"You see Akane, your dad was out of town for a while and Nodoka and I were separated briefly, and I was looking after your mother and things happened." Genma was slowly backing out of the room hoping to make a break for it, after he was done. "When your mother got pregnant she was certain it wasn't Soun's child so we had a DNA test done at a hospital and your my daughter." With that he slips into the Umi-sen-ken and makes a dash for the horizon his backpack securely in his grasp.
"Well," Kasumi said innocently, "at least there can still be a wedding."
The silence is deafening.
Then the face-faults occur.
______________________"I want proof!" Akane screams pushing her arm in front of Tofu to take a blood sample.
Tofu does so, "I'll get right on it, but it'll take a little bit a day at most."
Then next Day
"I have your test results Akane." Tofu says sadly handing the copy to the girl.
Akane looks at the entries for "Mother" and "Father" (with the Tendo/Saotome families (minus Genma) looking over her shoulder) and finds something disturbing.
