"Who are you?"
"I was a mage know as Mephisto. I was killed by that accursed pirate hunter Flint "Pirate hunter? Must be a guy who hunted ships that his pirates could plunder."
"Something like that," Mephisto waved off. "Anyway, your wish recovered my soul from the afterlife. I will now merge with you and you will have my skills and knowledge and I get to live again."
Shinji nodded, "Sounds good. Let's do it."
As soon as Shinji agreed, a flare of green light appeared around him. Opening his eyes, Shinji grinned evilly. Sensing the NERV agents nearby, Shinji teleported behind them and used some of his new magic to knock them out.
"This body's youth and the experience of that other body has made me stronger than ever. The only ones who might be able to stop me are Rei, Asuka, and Misato. This world might not be my first choice, but it will do. I'll have to make servants and grunt workers to build a new Star Key."
Shinji looked down at the NERV guards and snorted a bit. "Theese guys can become my first Mastars of this world. As to those three, I'll have to prepare special keys. I want to keep them. Soon, I'll turn this entire world into a race of clockworks serving me.
