Coupled Union - Yamato Nadeshiko: A Difficult Dad.... [Episode 172475]

Her home was spotless, and Nodoka knew that. But that didn't stop her from wanting to clean it, as she liked the feeling of satisfaction that such work would give her. To her, the idea of doing work and getting an immediate visual indication of the amount of effort put into it gave her a feeling of pride. As a wife and mother, she had to give something to her family, and this was what she had available to her. And with the possibility of her son coming home with his wife for at least a visit, she wanted to everything in tip top shape.

After all, it would get Ranma and Kasumi away from his father. To tell the truth, she didn't know what the man had been thinking when he'd been searching the Tendo home, but she could guess. Genma had never been one to stop and consider some things, and he apparently hadn't changed in that regard. She had wished that his years on the road had given him some seasoning, but he was apparently the same man that she'd been married to all those years ago. What Nabiki had said in her call had proven it.

Though she wasn't quite sure about the other part of the middle Tendo daughter's remarks. Not that she could not see how it was possible, but that she didn't want to grab that as an explanation until she had proof. But it would explain so much, and give her something to understand how things could go as they had. It was more comfortable to think that her husband had a condition preventing him from focusing rather than thinking that her actions would only have him up until the job was done. Their marriage might have been an arranged one, but she'd like to think that her feminity was worth more than that.

Still, she did think that such a concept was all too worthy of consideration. She just didn't want to have to wonder about just how troublesome it might be if it were true.

Normally, Genma would have included his son in on any training in the Art that had to be done. He'd have gone and told the boy that they'd be working on some skill or another, and then would have simply started. There had never been any discussion on whether or not they should do it, or consideration given to the idea of doing it with someone else. His son was the one that he had been training, and there simply hadn't been a reason to go to anyone else for anything other than gaining a technique before.

He didn't even have an inkling of going to see the boy now. The decision to train Soun's youngest daughter had been made, and so he was going to do it. The silly excuses of children didn't enter into it. Once the decision had been made by a responsible adult, there was really no reason to argue with it. They were too young and inexperienced to understand just what was really important, and fortunately had their fathers to guide them on the right path.

Besides, he didn't feel like letting the boy know and get into an argument on a logical and intelligent plan like this.

So, he simply followed Akane's trail, and went right for her. He wasn't about to allow another second to go by before he went to work on his plan. The only delay that he'd allow would be in finding her, as he wasn't too familiar with the Tendo home yet. But it wasn't like he had to search all over the house, and so he was aware that he could find her quickly enough. Being excited, he just couldn't wait to get to see her, and so he slammed open the door to see her.

Akane was less than pleased to see him for her part. "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

"I've come to see you!" Genma informed her, puffing his chest out in a show of pride. "I've figured out what I should do about, and for, you."

"Eh?"

"I'm going to teach you the Bakusai Tenketsu!"

"Oh?"

"Yes, I am. It's a martial arts technique that not only allows you to break boulders with a touch, but you'll get tougher skin. None of that 'baby soft' stuff, you know."

"I see...."

"What?"

She looked at him for a long moment before she:
