"HOT-CHA!"
"Right on time," Ranma muttered under her breath as she shifted herself around to face the oncoming grandmaster of Musabetsu Kakutou-ryuu, he just having come back from a refreshing panty raid over Nerima, Itabashi and Tomobiki.
Yomi only had to take one scan with her telepathy to tell her what sort of creature was coming their way, and then she gazed warily on Ranma. "Um, Ranma-kun, are you sure . . .?" she began.
Ranma gave her new friend a knowing wink as one of her hands moved to unbutton the sleeveless white tang she was wearing -- that having an honest-to-goodness lace bra underneath it. Once enough of her ample cleavage was exposed, she then called out, "JIJII! COME AND GET IT!"
A bullet zipped through the doorway of the sitting room to impact her cleavage. "HOT-CHA!" Happousai crooned as he opened his own ki pathways to absorb his curiously willing "student's" ki energy for a quick recharge after his morning rounds . . .
"YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"
A flash of energy seemed to encompass Ranma and Happousai for a moment. Once it faded, it then revealed Ranma back as a man -- his clothes having morphed back to normal, the bra underneath his tang having switched to his normal muscle shirt -- with a charcoal-broiled Happousai collapsing onto the floor, his face twisted into a mask of unbelievable pain. "You fried him, Ranma-kun!" Ayumu then noted before her eyes turned towards the doorway as her own powers picked up something. "Oh, dear . . . "
"Damn!" Yomi gasped; her telepathy was telling the same story Ayumu's reality-warping powers were telling her classmate. "How the hell . . .?!"
"Happousai fully bought into the 'dumb jerk who only cared for martial arts' act that I was made to play after the Neko-ken incident thanks to the Doc," Ranma reported as he moved to button his shirt up. "He actually believed that I, much less Tendou-dono and Father, wouldn't begin to sense what he had done to Tendou-dono's daughters, much less all the other young ladies who have interest in me."
"So he must've sensed what you really were," Kaorin noted.
"To an extent, young lady," Genma answered for his son. "Happousai always believed that due to his power and experience, he was nominally superior to anyone he might have confronted on his road gain power over anything that took his interest. The very concept of him actually meeting up with people who could see through him never really entered his mind. He was ultimately that powerful. And admittedly, both Souun and I were quite cowered by him when we were his students. But then . . . "
"You met Destructo-sensei," Yomi finished.
"Exactly, dear," Souun finished. "It was the Doctor who gave us the ability to seal Happousai up in his cave before I married my wife and Genma met Nodoka."
"But sadly, he had already caused me enough damage to ensure that, if he eventually survived his ordeal in the cave, he could still lord it over me," Genma added. "Part of that was the fact that I was made barren; I'm incapable of fathering a child."
"And with Mom here wanting a baby so badly," Ranma added.
Yomi and Kaorin gazed on their friend. "You mean it was Destructo-sensei who saw to it that you were guided here to Earth before your real mother died?!"
"Quite correct," Genma answered for his son.
"This was pretty well planned out, wasn't it?" Yomi mused.
"It had to be," Souun declared. "Wysynski-sensei is loathe to involve himself directly in affairs which don't directly affect him personally. He will help those he does take interest in, but only to the point where the person in question gains the power to deal with the problem on his own initiative. To do otherwise is to go against everything Wysynski-sensei believes in. People are to be free and independent in his mind; this ensures that any form of unpopular sovereignty -- especially in the madness the Nazis unleashed during the Second World War -- can't get far without someone stopping it. After all, on Yiziba, would-be dictators last about a week before a fight scene puts them down, pretty much once and for all."
"So what do we do with this creep now?" Kaorin asked as she stared at the slowly twitching Happousai.
"Ayumu-chan, would you mind?" Ranma asked.
Ayumu stared at him, and then she nodded. "Okay!"
A snap of her fingers later, Happousai vanished in a flash of light. Staring at the place where the grandmaster of Musabetsu Kakutou-ryuu had been, the others remained silent for a moment before gentle breaths escaped those who had been the most affected by Happousai's life. To Cologne's surprise, Souun and Genma don't break out into the type of spontaneous celebrations they had launched into whenever Happousai had been defeated or humiliated in the past. Clearly, this incredibly well thought out -- and well supported -- plan the two had conceived of with Grigori Wysynski's help had so consumed them both that, once it was finally done . . .
"He's gone, finally," Genma then said.
"His evil will haunt us no more," Souun said as he gazed heavenward.
Hearing those words, Cologne's respect for Ranma's father and his friend rose up a notch. Most people who have had to endure Happousai in the past would have gloated in triumph, scream out their deed to everyone who could listen. Not Tendou Souun and Saotome Genma. Both had just shown themselves to be the martial arts masters they claimed themselves to be. For in the true code of Bushido many in Japan in the past had strove their whole lives to follow, one always strove to defeat one's enemies -- but one also respected one's enemies once victory had been won.
The Nyu-che-zuu elder was then shocked as Genma turned to face her, he giving her a deep bow. "Elder Lao Kun-lon, on behalf of my friend, I would like to apologise to you for all the misery and trouble Happousai brought on you and your people. To say anything of the misery and trouble the coming of my son and I to your village would, by extension, unleash on your beloved great-granddaughter, the Warrior Lao Shan-pu. I offer no excuse despite the fact that the plan my friend and I came up with . . . "
Cologne's laughter cut him short. "Oh, stop that, Genma!" she bade him with a dismissive wave of her hand. "That's enough! What you and Souun here came up with was positively brilliant! You both hold my respect -- and once they learn of what you two were really up to concerning Happy, the respect of the rest of the Council back home as well! Nicely done."
"Still, Elder, there must be compensation."
Cologne hummed. "Unseal the Sen-ken forms and allow us to absorb their knowledge into our own schools of martial arts. I will consider that an even trade."
"Done!"
Both bowed to each other. Laughter filled the room for a moment before Yomi cleared her throat. "Um, I hate to interrupt this celebration, but what the hell are you people going to do with Tendou-san's daughters and Ranma-kun's other . . . "
"We'll get to that in a moment, Yomi-chan," Ranma assured her with a wink before he turned back to gaze amusedly at the celebrations before him. "They need to blow off a little steam after all they've been through because of that jerk anyway!" He then perked as he remembered something. "Oh, by the way, Ayumu-chan . . . "
"Huh? What is it, Ranma-kun?"
"Where'd you send the creep, anyway?"
Ayumu blinked, and then she smiled. "Oh, I just . . . "
