It was strange her son-in-law would be so knowledgeable about such matters - who had given him an idea like that, to look into the Amazonian laws? While Ranma was not dumb, by any means, this was not his usual approach.
This plan was not at all succeeding how Cologne had intended, and her frown deepened. No, something was afoot, deeper than a one-off plan that she had decided to use for the time being. "Son-in-law, why did you decide to look for that information?"
Only a master like herself could tell that Ranma was faintly surprised by such a thing, but she shrugged, tucking the book underneath her arm and sticking her hands in her pockets. "Well, you see..."
