Gina yawned and stretched her arms over her head as she walked into the kitchen, switching on the kitchen equipment as she walked passed it. She had managed to get a relatively decent nights sleep thanks to her forethought of sleeping down in the lower levels of the mansion and the soundproofing they had installed. The soundproofing was admittedly there to prevent the noises of her experiments from disturbing the rest of the house but it worked perfectly well in reverse.
Cricking her neck, Gina grabbed a bowl, cereal and milk before collapsing down on one of the breakfast chairs. She rubbed her eyes behind her glasses as she tried to drive the last of sleep out of her mind. It had been a rather busy week for her, she reflected as she made her bowl of cereal. First Ranma had arrived, which wasn't that bad actually. Gina liked Ranma and even the chaos he tended to cause, it was a good shake up of her life. However recently it seemed like he had angered some divine entity or something, the poor boy had just been beset by six new women that seemed determined to land him and on top of that her sister Brianna had managed to turn him into a werecheetah.
Gina took a bite of her cereal thoughtfully and pondered about that particular situation, her mom was convinced that there was something different about Ranma and suspected that Ranma was under a thrall spell from Brianna's Lycanthrope infection. Gina and her father were not too sure it was that which was happening, from what Gina had read the thrall effect is much more obvious in affecting the personality of its victim. Ranma still acted like Ranma, although Gina did have to admit that it was odd that he had gotten over the sudden change in his life so fast, she was secretly hoping that he had fallen for Brianna. Her sister really did deserve someone who cared for her for herself, Brianna still had some self esteem issues which stopped her going out and finding a boyfriend for herself.
Her thoughts were interrupted by the kitchen door opening and Gina looked up to see the two princesses enter the room, each with their own unique style. Archon walked in with a graceful air and covered her mouth as she yawned daintily whilst Asrial on the other hand, staggered into the room scratching her ass before collapsing across the breakfast bar, looking about ready to fall back into dreams realm at any moment.
Gina tried to resist the smile that spread across her face when she looked at Asrial, that reminded her of some of the mornings that she and her sister used to have. “Good morning you two,” Gina greeted the pair of them with her spoon before going back to her food.
Archon nodded friendly to Gina. “Good morning, Gina. I hope we're not intruding,” Archon said embarrassed, a slight blush covering her face.
“Hmmm?” Gina murmured curiously around a mouthful of cereal.
Archon made a vague gesture towards the rather revealing bathrobe that Gina was wearing, it was only loosely tied at the waist in such a way that it quickly became obvious that Gina was not wearing anything else underneath.
Gina looked down at her bathrobe, mostly unconcerned but pulled it a little tighter around her body for her guests comfort. “You're not intruding at all, Jalliele,” Gina reassured the Kryn woman as she sat down opposite to her.
“I'm glad,” Archon replied before turning to look at her companion.
She wasn't the only one as Gina also looking at Asrial in a rather bemused way. “Have a rough night?” She asked before pouring herself a cup of coffee from her coffee-o-matic.
“Urgh....” Asrial elegantly communicated as she collapsed to having her head resting on her elbows.
Archon shook her head at the other princess before sitting down on the chair next to her. “I apologize about my companion Gina. I know her attitude is not befitting that of a guest but could you make an exception, she apparently is suffering from some sort of intergalactic jet lag.”
Gina winced as she picked up a cup of coffee. “Intergalactic jet lag?” she questioned, that didn't sound particularly pleasant.
Amazingly, Asrial was actually following the conversation despite her attempts to imitate a log and so looked up at Gina when she was mentioned. It was obvious to anyone who looked that she hadn't had much sleep, what with the large black bags visible under her eyes and frazzled hair. “Stupid timezones... Couldn't sleep,” Asrial grumbled tiredly, running a hand through her currently messy hair.
Gina nodded understandingly, she'd had many a late night herself. “Don't worry about it, my sisters have stumbled into the kitchen in much worse states,” she informed the pair before looking around the kitchen. “So can I get you anything for breakfast?” Gina offered the two princesses.
“Oh, no...” Archon started, waving the blonde genius off, not wanting to make a nuisance of herself, “..but..you don't mind me borrowing your kitchen, do you?”
Gina waved her hand in a welcome, “Make yourself at home, its pretty much self service today,” Gina stated before waving her hand towards some cupboards, “there is some food in the fridge and all of our pots and pans you may need are over in the cupboard by the stove.”
Archon smiled gratefully as she stood up again, intend on cooking, “Thank you.”
The bedrazzled Salusian princess propped herself up on one elbow and waited for Gina to look back at her. Once Gina's attention was focused back on her then she gestured pathetically towards the coffee-o-matic, “Coffee..please...”
“Here,” Gina offered taking pity in the poor caffeine deprived person and passed her a fresh cup of coffee which Asrial gratefully accepted, taking a large sip.
“Mmmm...” Murmured a slightly satisfied Salusian princesses as she leaned back slightly, cradling the cup and waiting for the caffeine to hit her system.
Archon meanwhile had walked into the middle of the kitchen before closing her eyes and focusing on the power of her artifacts, the distinctive arch over a circle with two dashes above it glowed softly on her forehead as cooking utensils lifted out of their cupboards and began flying around the kitchen. Within moments the stove was on, food, pots, and dishes were flying through out the air. Ingredients were moving themselves through the air into the mixing bowl and making pancake batter with shocking speed and agility.
The activity quickly switched to a spatula flipping pancakes from a skillet onto a large plate moments later whilst a carton of orange juice floated about in the air calmly as it emptied its contents into glasses. Stripes of bacon some how cooking and sizzling in mid-air as the grease fell into a bowl. Hell, even the toaster seemed to have a life of its own with the bread popping out, just to have new bread float into it just as it finished with the last batch.
Gina and Asrial both watched the scene entranced as the Empress of Aebra used her artifacts to cook breakfast, Gina had seen Stripe do a similar thing with his artifacts on occasion but Archon had a fluidity and poetry of motion that Stripe simply didn't have. It was not so much as just cooking but artistry with the way that the cooking instruments flew around the room in seeming harmony, all directed by Archon who stood motionless in this flurry of activity.
It was incredible to watch.
It was also happening pretty fast.
“Wow...” murmured Asrial, the show of telekinetic talent waking her up a bit, “that's pretty neat.”
Gina nodded as she finished a spoon of her cereal. “Stripe can do a similar thing with his artifacts but it looks like Jalliele is a pro at this,” she stated appreciatively, all the food in the air was beginning to make her hungry for something more than the rabbit food she was eating. A little bacon wouldn't affect her figure that badly anyway, would it?
Archon smiled from her position in the middle of the telekinetic orchestra and opened her eyes to look at the others. “Many thanks Gina. Speaking of Stripe, do you know where he and the others are? They might want breakfast.”
“Couldn't you just use your telepathy to find out?” Asrial asked curiously, knowing that the princesses had telepathic abilities thanks to her artifacts.
Archon blinked at the question. “Well I could, but I think it would be extremely rude to drop into peoples heads uninvited,” she politely pointed out to the much more... direct princess as she started placing down the small mountain of food she had cooked.
“Well...” Gina said clapping her hands together and thinking, “as far as I know Luan, Carla, Gar, Ranma and my mother are most likely in the dojo. Dad tends to like sleeping in unless something disturbs him. Brianna's grounded, so she'll be stuck up in her room. Genn and Séance have gone out, I don't know when they'll be back. My sister and her husband should be down pretty much any minute now anyway.... I think thats everyone.”
There was a pause for a moment before a female voice spoke up from the kitchen doorway. “Well.... Not quite everyone...”
