"Your father don't appear to be so bright, no offense." That was that gunman's voice.
"None taken, I dunno. Maybe I need to reincarnate him into a Heavy Knight or Ninja. I never seen one of THEM run right into a Petit Orc ambush. I mean really - he got taken out by an Orc God attack. You think he'd find a way to die a second time that wouldn't look nearly so silly, but nooooooooooo."
Genma winced in her sleep. Okay, on seeing that big golden idol falling from the sky - maybe trying to catch it hadn't been the best idea she could have come up with.
"So it didn't do any good?"
Genma wondered who that voice was. It almost sounded like Nodoka.
"Well, not completely. She's level 142 now, just from following along in our wake so to speak."
Genma's mouth turned down. It wasn't as if his son and his companions didn't do a fine job of taking out monsters, they did that quite well. On being confronted with seven-eyed gun-toting horrors, what was a more natural reaction than running? Not his fault, damnit.
"I'm not too sure about your father being a girl," said that woman's voice. "Though he IS cute like that."
Genma's eyes shot open. That WAS Nodoka. This could be bad.
"Anyway, here's the new stats," said Ranma.

"Hmmm," said Nodoka as Genma staggered to HER feet, a panicked look managing to look fairly cute on the blonde girl's face. "I think-"
