When she awoke, she remembered. Ranma's odd request. Also what she'd said before going to sleep. It all clicked together in her head.
Eyes wide and now completely awake, she realized that maybe this was going to be a problem. Which led her to say one thing in particular.
"Gardevoir!"
Ranma yawned and stretched before heading out the window to get some morning exercises done. He wondered if Kasumi had come up with a wish yet, but didn't want to bug Kasumi too much.
As he went through a speed drill and balanced on the roof's edge, he noticed some strange little creature exit the house at a run and circle the koi pond. Odd, it's cries sounded kind of panicky.
"RALTS! raltsraltsraltsraltsRAL! Raltssssss!"
Ranma stopped practicing to scratch his head and wonder what that thingie was.
The mighty Tatewaki Kuno greeted the sun in his usual manner.
"Marowak!"
Okay, ALMOST his usual manner.
"Marowak maro maro wak!" muttered Tatewaki Kuno, figuring that the foul sorcerer Saotome must have done this in order to keep him from the pigtailed girl and Akane.
"WAK!" declared Tatewaki Kuno to the heavens.
"Mihoshi Kuramitsu, WHY did you grant that wish?"
"B-but she wanted that wish, and it was from the heart!" said the genie on probation.
"HOW was that wish granted in the first place?" asked a Dao Queen. "It exceeded the power limits she was given and also violated one of the rules given."
"According to the scientist who contacted us in the first place," said an Efreeti Lord, "her power to screw things up exceeds all reasonable boundaries."
"It's not my fault, I didn't mean to do it!" declared Mihoshi.
"Intention is not as important as result," said the Efreeti Lord. "Now to your punishment."
