Dear Tendou,
Bringing Ranma from China.

Tendou Soun wept. Finally, Ranma was coming. Soon, the houses of Tendou and Saotome would be joined under one glorious Tendou School of Indiscriminate Grappling. He had gathered is daughters, telling them of the good news.
Akane was frowning. The girl was so headstrong, but Soun hoped that the girl would grow out of her boy-hating phase and fall for some strong, athletic guy. Like that Kunou-fellow. Good breeding on that one.
Kasumi looked skeptical. She had said her peace about not wanting to marry someone younger than herself. Of course, this included that nice young doctor, Tofu Ono, who seemed to fancy her. Perhaps she wasn't the best candidate for the betrothal.
Nabiki was the only one of the three daughters to actually take a positive, active interest in the betrothal to his friend's son, and he was very gratified. It was the first girlish thing he'd seen out of her since his wife's death, when Nabiki started reading stockbrokers' analyses instead of the girls' manga.
Then, all of a sudden, something seemed to click within the mind of Nabiki, and her smile disappeared. "Wait a minute… Ranma? Son of your friend, Saotome? Saotome Ranma?!" Soun confirmed the identity. Had the girl heard of his friend's son's exploits? Probably not, because Nabiki now had a deep frown on her face.
Then Nabiki reminded him of an important fact: "The same Saotome Ranma that was reformatted into a girl by aliens?" asked Nabiki curtly.
Ah, yes. That was it. Barely a month ago, a large hologram appeared in the sky, showing what was clearly a busty young girl with a ponytail. The hologram claimed to be by aliens apologizing for some damage to the girl, and further claimed that the girl was a former boy and now female due to some failure of the aliens to understand how humans were put together. He had forgotten that, which was the only reason he was up and about.
That made Akane perk up with attention. "You mean that Saotome Ranma?" she asked. Nabiki nodded.
"Oh my! That's right, a boy named Saotome Ranma is now a girl!" Kasumi gasped, remembering the incident a month ago.
Soun coughed. "Nonsense! It obviously some other Saotome Ranma. This Saotome Ranma is very much a man!" the Tendou patriarch declared loudly and in perfect certainty.
Nabiki began to worry. She could see the grade-A hottie in her mind going down the tubes. "Daddy, are you sure your friend's son and the boy-turned-girl are not the same person?"
"I've never met him, but I'm sure they're not the same person!" the Tendou patriarch answered confidently.
I've got a bad feeling about this… thought Nabiki.
*Ding Dong*
All three girls looked up. It seemed this would be the moment of truth.
