But in AKN-10D0's case, it was more of a problem that there were too many choices for what she could be used for. With her lithe physique and martial arts capabilities, she could be rebuilt into some sort of combat unit, perhaps staying at a humanoid size, or perhaps being put into a machine of some sort. Then again, she was also strong, sturdy, and resilient, which would make her a good candidate for general labor. One couldn't forget that she was sexually attractive as well, with a tight body and pretty face that could be made into all sorts of sexual use units. And that didn't include all the other little tasks that she could accomplish, or the fact that various parts of her could be used for different applications.
So, as she stepped out of the tube, she looked much the same as she had before the change. There were some differences though, as her body was enhanced by support given to her internal structures, like enhanced healing, and a more stable bone structure. However, those weren't quite so visible on her naked form, which didn't show that much in the way of signs of her changes. Instead, that came in the form of connectors on her back, neck, and hips, which had an almost temporary look to them. It was clear that tubes were supposed to go into them, and they were sealed until they were needed to be used on her for her final transformation.
At the moment though, she took in the information projected straight into her optic nerves by the controller, which was now implanted into her brain. She stepped away from the base of the tubes, and vacated it without a backwards glance. By sound and awareness, she knew that someone else had just stepped onto it to allow their humanity to be taken from them, but that did not matter to her. Her directives were quite clear, and so she followed them without question.
Walking with precise steps that did nothing to hide the bits that her 'former self' would have fought to cover up, she headed directly for the storage area of the ship. Going to the spot designated by the ship, she waited as a stasis container was opened for her. When that happened, she climbed into it, and let the automatic systems do their work. A device on the end of a tube came up to cup her groin, sending smaller tubes up into the holes there. Another tube slipped up into her anus, finding it opening to accept the intrusion, instead of being tight against it. The third cup slid over her mouth and nose, sending new tubes into them, and the connectors got tubes of their own.
Once that was done, the two halves of the container slid closed around her, with the material on the inside moulding to her body exactly. In the utter darkness of it all, she closed her eyes without fear or sorrow. She was merely equipment being put away by the ship until she could be of use, and for her, that was the only purpose in life that she had. To her, she was just a living and breathing piece of equipment, and property did not question its place, merely did what it was supposed to.
For his part though, Ranma did question what was going on, and didn't understand why this was happening. What he did know was that he was certain that he could remember the markings that came up on the big pod thing that had just taken Akane. Of course, he didn't know what had been done to her, but he was aware of the fact that it likely wouldn't leave her as the girl that he remembered. There was no way that the Akane that he'd known would have gone around in the buff like that, and she certainly wouldn't have been so docile.
Still, the both of them were left with little ability to do much about their situations at the moment, while:
