Spider-Man gracefully dodged another of Ittan-Momen's strikes. "Hey, watch it lady!" he called out to her. "Do you know how hard it would be for me to fix this outfit here?"
Ittan-Momen snarled. "You wouldn't have to worry about that if you'd just have the decency to stand still and DIE!!"
Spider-Man paused on the side of a building, and flippantly remarked, "Hmmm... no, I don't think so. I have this habit called breathing. I'd like to continue doing if for as long as I can..."
Ittan-Momen lashed out again, punching holes into the building Spider-Man just vacated. For himself, Spider-Man leapt in front of her, quickly punched the pale woman in the jaw, and leapt away again. He was moderately dismayed, but not too surprised, to see that his blow didn't do much damage.
"You're fast, I'll give you that, Gaijin. You might even be better than Kumobara. But your power can't compare to mine!"
Spider-Man shrugged from where he was crouching on another building. "Well, I try. So... her name is... Kumobara?"
"Yes. It is." A new voice rang out. Both combatants turned and saw the local spider, Kumobara.
Spider-Man noted the way her costume her costume resembled his in general color scheme, although there were pattern differences. Most notably, now that he could see, many time in the 'Web' on her outfit there seemed to be a... Rose pattern? He also noticed her well-defined figure, but dragged his mind back to the matter at hand.
Kumobara wasted no time. As soon as attention was on her, she lashed out with her newest weapon. Compressed air jets in her new wrist guards sent a pair of capsules at Ittan-Momen. She instinctively blocked them, but the capsules shattered on impact, releasing their contents. Ittan-Momen began to gag, and them spasmed.
Ittan-Momen felt sick. Her lungs were on fire, and her limbs were shaking out of her control. Whatever was in those capsules was causing some kind of allergic reaction! Using her last recourse, she quickly climbed up a building, then spread herself out as thin as she could. In no time, she was whisked away by the wind.
Spider-Man stared after her. That was an... unusual way to make an escape. "What was in those?"
Kumobara seemed nonplused. "Nothing that should have caused that!" she replied, "just a simple paralysis agent." Then she sighed. "Although, now that I consider it, her biochemistry is obviously unusual. There is no telling what will have what kind of reaction. And I was so hoping to stop her and finally get some answers from her..."
The pair considered each other for a moment, Spider-Man crouching on the side of a building, Kumobara on a lightpost. "I find it highly unlikely that someone with powers so similar to my own would just happen to show up here. I take it, you were looking for me?"
Spider-Man nodded. And thought to himself, well, I found her. Now what?
