Lycanthrope Legacy: Vampire's boogy man [Episode 176523]

by Starfirecoon

Now Gina was up until a few moments ago, was not one of the Combatant of her circle of friends. She mostly relied on her inventions and her sisters to handle the fighting. She had lost track of all the times her force fields or Cheetah’s speed made learning how to fight a secondary concern. As she dropped to one knee, the fighting style Iceron had chosen for the werefoxes was one that was known for its unpredictability and adaptability, something the werefoxes were going to need when they fought their undead foe. As she felt the changes to her body slow and eventually stop, she looked at the undead surrounding her and Natasha, The skeletons and zombies she looked upon with contempt as they were about as much of a threat to her as the common cold. Natasha on the other hand, though she had been terrified of her when she was bit, caused a loathing that seems to cause her very being to vibrate in anticipation of a good fight.

Natasha felt a cold shiver move through her very being as she watched Gina change from a weak human into a were she had only heard legends of. Her rock-climber's s seemed to grow denser and more defined as she gained the tone of one who spent their life training for battle. She felt the inklings of uncertainty as Gina’s tails grew, first appearing as one, only to unwrap reveling their true number. If it wasn’t already upset from Gina’s blood, she would’ve felt the bottom fall out of it as Gina’s glasses felt to the ground and Gina looked at her as if she didn’t need them.

Natasha had felt nothing but contempt for humans and as they were nothing but prey to her. This slowly morphed into fear as Gina transformed into a werefox. The werefox was the vampire’s own boogie man. A werefox was a lycanthrope whose only weaknesses were the claws of other weres and silver. The three tailed horrors were known for being able to tear through legions of lesser undead such as skeletons and zombies with ghouls and ghasts being only marginally better. She felt herself start to shake as Gina’s eyes started going over her minions and she almost eeped as Gina’s eyes locked on her.

The vampire queen noticed that Gina never gained in height. It struck her as odd as every legend vampires described werefoxes as creatures of ‘unbelievable stature’. It then occurred to her that that phase could be accurate as every were she met had either been bigger (in the chase of werewolves and most werecats) or smaller (as in the chase of wererats and a few rare breeds of werecats) than Humans. A werecreature that was just as big as a human would be unbelievable. So Gina’s stature seemed to confirm, rather than disprove those legends.

Gina seemed to fade from the mystical environment. As even the werecheetah and the lycanthropoid were brighter compared to humans it got Natasha to thinking. Her Sire had told her about werefoxes and even said that werefoxes could take more magical punishment than a human. She had disbelieved it of course as all lycanthropes she fought in her long unlife could take less than a human. This near absence could be then reason. Those she had to smile as that had to be a double edged sword as Gina would have to be in her human form to receive healing magic. It also meant Gina could never be transformed into a vampire.

All this added up to give Natasha an ill feeling (and not just her upset stomach). Gina’s lack of size changes (Unless you want to count her chest gaining three cup-sizes (and from that way the skeletons were staring at her chest they probably did)). Her lack of magical presence, combined to make Natasha uneasy. Which was an unfamiliar feeling to her was she was more used to being the scareer not the scare when it came to the living.

Gina then took a stance that seemed nonexistent as she said, “I’m giving you until I count to ten before I rip your bloodsucking throat out.”

Natasha took a step back as Gina started, “One…”
