Ran: Prince of Pluto: Golem Battle [Episode 177100]

by The Demented Redhead

The Senshi were currently facing an oddity in their usual enemies.

This one did not have a huge army, nor did he have any grand designs to steal weird crystals or energy from humanity in general. He did not seek an end to all times.

He was just seeking total and complete subjugation of the entire human race.

He was also currently protected by a force shield that was almost as strong as Saturn’s Silence Wall.

All he had outside this shield was a floating castle in the sky—a far cry from time traveling revolutionaries and extra-dimensional threats—and one lone warrior.

The fact that said lone warrior was quickly and efficiently handing the Senshi their collective fuku-clad bottoms was fairly obvious.

“Surrender now,” yelled the leader, “and I might show ... mercy.”

“We will never surrender!” yelled out Sailor Moon, as she helped Tuxedo Kamen to his feet, the lone male warrior having just taken a savage punch to his chest in order to protect Sailor Moon from losing her head ... literally.

The man chuckled. “Very well then. Golem, bring me the head of that one,” he said, pointing to Sailor Uranus, off to the side, and holding a broken arm. “We shall continue to do so until you surrender.”

“NO!” cried Neptune, trying to rush to help her lover, but Golem had already disappeared, his after-image following him to Uranus’s position.

Uranus however could only stare as her eyes barely followed the fist that was coming to knock her head off her body. This is it; I’m sorry I won’t be around to be with you anymore, Michiru.

A meaty thwack caught her attention once more, as a figure had appeared before her, a white gloved hand holding back the creatures punch, and the arm it was attached to showing no sign of strain. From behind, it almost looked like Sailor Pluto, with the exception that the hair was much shorter, with streaks of red flowing with the green. In her other hand was a Garnet Staff, though no jewel sat in the heart-shaped top.

“Now that wasn’t very nice,” said the new woman who looked like Pluto. “And if you won’t play nice, then I’m afraid I can’t let you play at all.”

Before anyone knew what had occurred, the new Pluto lashed out with a kick to Golem’s chest, sending the monster across the street into the ruble of the building brought down during the fight.

What was even more amazing ... was the fact the new warrior was still holding on to the now removed hand of Golem.

“Oh dear, I do hope you kept the receipt,” she said, tossing the hand haphazardly over to the attacking man, as it bounced harmlessly off his force shield.

“Who are you?” he growled out.

“You could call me Neo-Pluto if it would help,” the woman offered. “But then, you won’t be living much longer to make use of any knowledge I impart onto you.”

“Oh,” he said. “You believe you can stop me?”

Neo-Pluto smiled. “Your toy seems to be the only thing you have with any ability to fight, and all your little castle is doing is powering both its and your shield. And the only reason your castle is still around is because I figured it would be more of a challenge that way.”

“Quite arrogant, aren’t you?”

She smiled, before she vanished, the spot she had been standing in replaced with the remaining outstretched fist of Golem as it had tried to kill her in one move.

She reappeared again, this time her fist was punching through Golem’s back armor, causing the creation to twitch; it’s back straight in pain.

“That’s impossible,” muttered Mercury. The armor was powerful enough to withstand their attacks and what hand-to-hand skills they had. She looked over to Sailor Pluto, trying to get some reason why this Neo-Pluto could perform such a feat.

But Pluto was ... shocked, pale, and ...crying?

“Dead Scream,” muttered Neo-Pluto, as Golem exploded, its armor and insides turning to dust as the temporal energy distorted the very bonds that made it whole.

The man could only stare in shock as his unstoppable Golem was reduced to powder.

“You’ve made me quite angry,” said Neo-Pluto, fully turning to the offender. “I didn’t want to come out here wearing this outfit. I hate the high heals, and this skirt is a pervert’s dream. So I think I’ll take out that anger on a deserving target: you.”

The man could only laugh. “You think you can get past my shield?”

Neo-Pluto merely shook her head. “Idiots, all those who seek power like you are idiots, both before and after they obtain it.”

“This field is equivalent to the Silence Wall of Sailor Saturn!” he declared.

“So?”

“So?” he parroted in confusion.

Neo-Pluto smiled. “I can breech the Silence Wall with as little effort as I destroyed your little toy.”

“Prove it!” yelled the man.

The last thing he saw was her smirk, both before she moved, and after she did, her arm thrust outward, her Garnet Staff piercing through his shield, energy arcing around it, it’s tip piercing his chest.

“You’re too weak for me to drag this out any further,” she muttered. “Dead Scream.”

He never even had the chance to scream before his body was destroyed.

Neo-Pluto sighed. “Not even a challenge anymore.” Her eyes gazed upwards to the floating castle, her mind scanning it for innocents or anything that she needed to be wary of.

Nodding her head as she saw it was safe, she raised her Garnet Staff once again. “Dead Scream Revised: Dead Scream Level 6.”

A much larger ball of temporal energy shot from her staff, heading up to the castle. As it slammed into it, the castle itself crumbled, the energy shield not even lasting a moment of time against the onslaught.

And in a flash, it was all gone.

“Well,” said Neo-Pluto, “my good deed is done for the day.”

“WAIT!”

She paused, turning to see the injured Senshi make their way to her.

“Who are you?”

“Where did you come from?”

“How are you related to Pluto?”

“That was soooo cool!”

She blinked at that last one, having never heard it before in her life as Prince Ran.

“Ran ... is that you?”

She turned once again, seeing the saddened face of her mother from a previous life.

The others quieted down as Pluto talked. “Is it you, Ran?”

She nodded. “I am dealing with things; I’ll contact you when I am ready.”

“Please wait!”

She paused once again. “Please make it quick. I do have others engagements I need to deal with.”

“Ran ... what happened? I couldn’t trace you, I didn’t even know if you were dead.”

Neo-Pluto sighed. “I died defeating a full tenth of the forces Beryl had at her hands. I was able to keep enough from landing on Selene to buy Queen Serenity the time she needed. The fact my soul is here and now is simple coincidence.

“Oh, and do be completely honest with the girls about me,” said Neo-Pluto as she walked away. “I would hate to have to scatter them to the winds simply because they saw me as a threat.”

With that she faded away, and Pluto collapsed to her knees, crying. “My child,” she cried, “my child is back.”

Ran returned to her civilian form, sighing. “It just had to happen when I was seeing if I could be a Senshi as well as a Kamen. Couldn’t have caught my attention a few minutes earlier.”

Grabbing some hot water, she turned herself back to male, and began rubbing his head. “I think Ranma is starting to wake up. I better finish up quickly then.”
