"Ranma, you're drinking all of the milk in the house," Kasumi said.
"Don't you know what they say at Japanese bathhouses: Nothing beats havin' milk after a hot bath! And you know there's nothing I like more than havin' a hot bath," the scowling teenage boy said before emptying another bottle.
"But that bath was nearly an hour ago."
"He just can't stand that I made a good meal," Akane said, pleased with herself as she watched her family, the Saotomes, and, of course, Dr. Futana, be pleasantly surprised at the adequate taste.
"Ranma, you have hardly had any," the woman said, staring at the two sisters, and absentmindedly eating from the pigtailed boy's dishes.
"That's okay. You can have mine." And he dropped raw eggs into the last bottle of milk. To the looks he was getting from everybody (except Futana, of course), he said, "What?? It's a protein drink! All the real athletes drink it!"
"I hope Ranma doesn't compensate for Akane not being a bad chef, now, by become one himself," Genma whispered to Soun.
"As do I. Only Kasumi is a better one around here," Soun agreed.
"Oh, my, Ranma's sick," Kasumi said, bringing down a full pail of puke from upstairs. "And he's the only one. I think it may be from the expired milk and eggs. I told him not to mix them up with the fresh."
"It serves him right," Akane said. "If he'd eaten my cooking like everybody else, he wouldn't be that way." She turned to the Doctor, standing beside the door to the covered walkway to the dojo. "Futana, you promised me you'd show me something I can use to defeat Ranma in a sparring match."
"I did. Now that you have shown that you are ready to apply my teachings by successfully creating a meal, I will train you in a special martial arts technique or two."
At last! Akane though. My chance to be alone with this beautiful version of Dr. Tofu!
