However, their intensive training had begun maybe five years ago, after joining the military and being identified as individuals of "flexible morality.
Ranma's training had been going on for nearly twelve years, ten of which would have made their training seem like a cake-walk.
Soun's training was similar to Ranma's, if anything more cruel and unusual under Happosai, and he had years of experience as an assassin after that.

"The elder sisters are still in their room," the point man called back in a hushed voice.
"RANMAAAA!!!" an enraged voice declared followed by the sound of shattering wood, advertising for all that the dojo was still occupied.
"Excellent," the leader said. "Move, now!" When his team showed a lack of movement he frowned and turned around to see...nothing.
"Ichiro," he snapped, turning back to his point man. "Are you certain Saotome is in the..."
There was no Ichiro.
"Akane's always wanted to act," a voice said before darkness descended on the assassin.

"STAND STILL DAMN IT!!!" Akane shouted before putting her fist through the wall again. She winced, knowing that they were going to have to fix this, but still, at least she was being useful now.
"We got them all!!" Ranma's voice called out.
"So please stop demolishing the dojo!" her father's voice added plaintively.
