World Watching: Spelling it Out [Episode 180515]

by The Demented Redhead

“So Mamrou’s a girl now?” asked Haruka.

Ami nodded. “Until he ... she ... gives birth, I can’t tell if she can change back.”

“Birth!” screeched the neo-princess of Earth.

Setsuna sighed, as she explained things ... once again.

“This ... isn’t happening,” said Mamoru, as she curled into the fetal position, the idea of losing her manhood and becoming pregnant because of a bored scientists that the law of the Silver Millennium hadn’t executed, becoming too much for her mind.

“Two half siblings,” muttered Chibi-Usa. “But to get one, I have to lose Mamo-chan...”

“Um ... Chibi-Usa,” said Hotaru, worried about her friend’s obsession with her own father.

Well, mother now, but that was beside the point.

“Exactly how are we to explain to our folks that we’re knocked over,” said Minako.

“Knocked up,” corrected Ami.

“That way too,” said Minako.

“You think you have it bad,” growled Haruka. “I finally convince my family that me and Michiru are going to be together forever, and now I’m with child. Want to explain that to them?” growled the aggressive Senshi of Uranus.

“Well,” said Michiru, trying to look for the bright side, “at least we’ll have heirs for our power.”

The others looked at her.

“What?” she asked. “I mean, how come the only daughter from the future is Usa? Does that mean the rest of us never have children?”

The others blinked.

“You know,” said Rei, “she has a point.”

“You can’t possibly be accepting it this easy,” growled out Setsuna, still not happy that a chaos-magnet such as who she suspected was the father, was going to father a child—her child—through her. At least, it might be. Abar tended to go for certain types for 'these' experiments, and he did fit the profile.

“Pregnant,” mumbled Mamoru.

“Not much else we can do,” said Makoto, rubbing her stomach. “You said yourself that our powers will protect them, and I’d rather my first child never think that I hated them for how they came into the world.”

The others looked at her, before slowly looked at their own bellies. They could understand Makoto’s desire a bit. After all, she was the last of her family. And she would never question her own child. After all, she had been without a parent’s love for a while now.

And such pains were something she would never wish on another.

“And it’s not like we can find this guy to blast him for pulling us into his little experiment,” she finished, glaring at Setsuna.

“What?”

“Well, for someone with a Gate that is supposed to see all, you really dropped the ball on this one,” said Makoto.

Setsuna sighed. “Abar isn’t one that the Gates can track, they have limits.”

“Now she tells us,” said Usagi, as she tried to comfort her former boyfriend/current girlfriend.

“Can you track the father?” Hotaru asked Ami.

“The genetic signature seems to be fairly strong,” said Ami. “It also has a strange magical signature to it as well that I cannot identify. I should be able to locate it, given time and a recommended search pattern.”

“I suggest you hurry,” said Setsuna. “We have you to tell us early. Many others may not find out the truth until later, and I doubt they will listen to us about what really happened at that point.”
