That was why Akane suddenly got pelted by a lot of really badly made cookies.
"Hey! Stop that!" the youngest Tendo screeched, trying to keep some control over the situation, and the little girls who should have been listening to her.
"NO!" came the chorus of responses from the little mouths with the big voices.
"Come on! I made those for you to eat!"
Haruka glared back at the mean old lady. "We don't wanna die!"
"You're not going to.... AH!" went Akane as she got the platter from her cookies smacked across her face.
As that slipped off, the youngest Tendo saw that a lot lot more things had joined the cookies in the air, as she raised her arms to protect her face. Spoons whapped her in the head, crockery bounced off of her chest, and a spatula nearly caught her in the eye. But she couldn't really do anything, not because the hits were hard, but because there were so many of them. It was like the air was filled with cups, placemats, and a sake bottle that Genma had been holding for a 'rainy day', among other items.
"Oh my...." Kasumi breathed. "This will be such a mess."
Nabiki merely sipped her tea, and raised her brows slightly. "She made it for herself."
That made it clear to Akane that she wasn't about to get help from that quarter. As her sisters were already considering other things, her own situation was left to her to deal with. Since she was not exactly in a good position, she knew that she had to do something. But as the ages of the little girls wasn't exactly all that high, it vas not exactly a major force to hurt her. It was, she'd just about gotten hit by everything, save the kitchen sink, or so it seemed.
She growled under breath and bellowed over at the kids. "Stop it, or I'll make you stop!"
"GAH!" went Makoto, who promptly stretched an arm holding a kettle from a certain demure sister out behind her, and then whipped out to send it sailing towards little scowling, sending it directly at Akane.
The metal kettle crashed right into Akane's face, causing her to fall backwards, and smash onto the floor with a loud crash. Of course, given that it was filled with water already heated for tea, it made it very clear as to how what the reaction would be. Rather than just bathing her, it caused the now soaked girl to leap back up, almost to the ceiling, and screech like the little girl that she herself had once been. "YOWTCH! HOT!
While her eldest sister tried to handle the panicking and rather damaged Akane, the children looked on upon the creepy old biddy to try something else.
