This was one such time.
Assuming that the red-head was Ranma and hearing "Ranma" make all those accusations about him sent Ryouga into a hazy rage. So much that he didn't consider that it was odd that Ranma was suddenly male again, or that the other "Ranma" was still there. Or that he was holding one of the love arrows.
"Ranma! Prepare to die!" he shouted. The arrow flew and, to the horror of their future daughter, struck Ranma.
