"Why is it tragic?" asked Genma.

"Because grey wolf was not native this area," said the Guide. "Also was raised in captivity. Very tragic. Guide try to catch but wolf run away right into spring. If Guide could have catch, would get big big reward from zoo for return of animal."

Genma nodded solemnly. Missing out on reward money WAS a tragedy.

Ranma shook himself, then flicked out with the Great Will to see what he looked like. What he saw, he had to admit had a certain look to it, as he was now:

• about 77kg of lanky grey wolf. Big wolf, but certainly within normal parameters.
• a grey wolf puppy. Hmmm. May be able to use the cuteness factor. Heh heh. He still has the Great Will, so he'll just add one. Special Attack: Puppy Dog Eyes.
• an average teenage wolf of about 50kg.
• a Jon Talbain style wolfman. Hey, he wanted cool and nonfemale...
• something else
