Nabiki looked over the crowd.
She waved her hand in front of a few faces. Nothing.
Cologne cleared her throat softly. "I think they're mainly in shock, dearie. Well, at least this solves Shampoo's problems."
"What problem was that?" Nabiki asked, not feeling particularly well herself.
"The failure to bring home Ranma," answered Cologne. "Losing to another martial artist would have been bad. Losing to a superhero - ah well, such is life. Who knows - maybe she'll end up sharing with this new girl. What a pity Akane didn't go that way."
"Huh?" Nabiki said, feeling a page behind in the script.
"One reason Shampoo was constantly teasing Ranma about the fact that Akane seemed more comfortable around Ranma when he was a girl. If Akane had been interested in such a deal, Shampoo would have given her the kiss of marriage long ago and the three would have gone off on a honeymoon." Cologne let out a deep breath. "Pity that the simple solutions are so seldom workable."
"Oh my," said Nabiki, picturing the pictures she could have gotten of that.
"Gak," commented Akane.
"I'm surprised you're not getting pictures of the Sailor Senshi there. Particularly with them standing around looking like statues." Cologne pointed out.
Nabiki blinked and raced for her camera.
"We've got to find Venus, quick!" Jupiter said. "We have to save her from -"
"From her honeymoon. Oy vey, I feel such a headache coming on," griped Sailor Pluto.
