Nodoka's Solution: Tournament of Harems: And They're Off [Episode 181190]

by The Demented Redhead

Nabiki quietly let out a breath of relief; her plan had been able to take the pressure off of her.

Sadly, there were still two people left, and they were not about to go chasing after Ranma.

“Well then,” said Nodoka, smoothing out her kimono, “while they are working on their team-building exercise, we can go find those toys for them.”

“But I said the store closed,” said Nabiki.

“But there are so many others,” said Kasumi. “Do you know where I might get a collar, Auntie?”

Nodoka appeared thoughtful. “I was hoping to go to a store closer to here. The ones I know are closer to Tokyo Proper. But I guess we’ll have to go there, unless Nabiki knows of any better stores closer to the area.”

Both girls directed their attention to the younger Tendo, cutting off any chance she had to hope she could sneak by them. “Um ... not that I know of.” It was the truth. After all, aside from the one she knew, most of her stuff had been mail order. And she wasn’t about to drag or be dragged down to the one she occasionally shopped at.

“I’ll check the telephone book, Auntie,” said Kasumi. “I’m sure they’ll have a listing that we can use.”

“A good idea, Kasumi-chan,” said Nodoka. “And while you do that, I’ll discuss with your sister, about her own participation in the tournament.”

This is not happening.

“What about the other girls?” asked Kasumi.

“Well, I did send out invites. But I’ll call them when we get back and see where they stand. I figure we’ll give it a few days before we start working on the tournament design.”

“Okay then,” said Kasumi, as she left to fetch a phone book to find a closer place, which would in all likelihood be the actual one Nabiki went to.

“Now dear,” said Nodoka, “I need to discuss the proper way for you to show your strong affections for my son. After all, you obviously need help building up your courage so you can express those desires to him.”

Kami-sama, strike me down now!

“Where are we going?” yelled Kodachi.

“We find stupid music girl,” said Shampoo. “Shampoo no know why Airen follow Lucky God, but she get Airen back.”

“But how did they get here?” asked Ukyo, looking towards the sky. “The weather’s been clear and sunny all week. How’d they hide that damn air ship of theirs?”

“So, the redheaded harridan is trying to sneak my Ranma-sama out and away from her beloved Black Rose.”

“THAT IT!” yelled Shampoo. “First we stop at Nekohanten and ask great grandmother if she know. Then we dunk stupid rose girl in Instant Jusenkyo until she get it!”

“But we have to go get the pervert!” yelled Akane, her voice betraying a slight bit of worry that Ranma still could be taken from her.

“No offense, sugar,” said Ukyo, “but we don’t even know if it really was Mon-Lon. Maybe the Cologne knows of any other Chinese princesses who might be after Ranma. After all, don’t they all go through there first?”

“What you mean? No princesses come to Nekohanten.”

Ukyo glared at the Amazon. “Not that, just that every magic tribe somehow connected to Ranchan in some way comes to there first, like those Musk guys.”

“That’s true,” murmured Akane. “Wait, you don’t think it was Herb, do you?”

“Airen no go with stupid Musk,” said Shampoo.

“She’s got a point, sugar,” said Ukyo. “After all, Herb was a guy like Ranchan. Even Auntie wouldn’t be that crazy.”

“Is true,” said Shampoo. “Beside, Airen’s mother no want Airen to be mother, want Airen to have many children. She want him as male. Stupid Musk no let self be female.”

“I guess it was a little stupid,” chuckled Akane.

“Excuse me,” said Kodachi, “but does this Herb man or woman have something to do with the redheaded tramp that is pursuing Ranma-sama?”

Ukyo sighed, rubbing her temples. “Let’s get the water first, then we talk to Cologne.”

“Have you located our wayward Princess?”

“No; she has appeared to have slipped past our search parties. I have some scrying for her as we speak.”

“And her aids?”

“They are now females, presumably as punishment for ... bringing ... the wrong water. We haven’t been able to confirm which girl-water was used. The fools are still too preoccupied with playing with their own chests.”

“Look how they bounce,” said a female Lime.

“We need a trampoline,” said a female Mint. “I saw on the picture box during our stay in Japan that women jump on them. It must be important, because a lot of guys were watching.”

“Do you think she will seek out someone?”

“She was only cursed with plain girl water, not that of the Drowned Bride. If she were, we would need to be worried. But who on the outside would both understand her situation, and be strong enough to have earned her respect?”

“Still, we need to return her here. She has to ... choose ... her husband.”

“Do not worry. By this time in one week, our dear Princess will be wed to her new husband, and the Musk shall be ours.”
