Sasami nodded. "Tsunami thinks its a good deal too. Not to mention now that we have this going, Hotaru gives us a direct connection with the rightful court of the Earth system natives. Hotaru is a reincarnated princess of their ancient Moon Kingdom, and Tsunami says that means its all right because the Moon Kingdom was settled by Juraians who went there and ended up using an alternate energy source than the trees!"
"Serenity's kingdom? Ah, then this does appear to be a good match," said Funaho. "How nice that history comes full circle and the splinter branch of our people shall at last be reunited with us. How is Serenity, anyway?"
Hotaru needed to be gently prodded to speak up. "She is fine, Your Highness. She is known as Sailor Moon due to some... difficulties that occurred upon her resurrection."
Azusa glanced at both his wives, who gave almost imperceptible nods. Well, if it was okay with them, then Sasami in a platonic marriage until her biological age caught up... "You understand the marriage is symbolic, a handfasting. That a second even more formal ceremony is called for upon you reaching the age of your majority?"
Three voices murmurred agreement, with much blushing and handholding going on.
Azusa smiled. "Very well then. Set the date for three days hence. That'll be the fastest we can get everything organized. Hardly anything goes quickly at our level. Everyone insists on pomp and circumstance and elaborate ceremony. If Tsunami herself approves, then we should get this underway before too many courtiers begin filing objections."
"Where is Ranma?" "Where is Akane?" "Where is Sasami?" "Where is Hotaru?"
The call went out far and wide, the searchers scattered, when:
