Tick Tock Chaos: Funny Thoughts [Episode 182247]

by The Demented Redhead

Ranma sighed as she scrubbed herself clean. It wasn’t that she was currently a she at the moment, she was far past that point when it came to her curse. Nor was it her Old Man had defeated her again in a spar. Nope, that still happened quite often as well.

Nope, it was because her Old Man still wasn’t going to teach her the Umi-sen-ken. And I had the best excuse too, she thought with a sigh. Damn it, what’s it gonna take to get him to teach me that?

Hmm, maybe Setsuna knows of some other options. I mean, she does know a lot of techniques. Maybe she knows something similar I can use. If not, she might know where I can find it, or even what I need to do to make it up myself.

“AAAAHHHHHHHH!”

Ranma blinked, as she ran to the window, looking out to see what had startled her father.

What she found was her now male father on the ground, face etched with pain, looking like he had just passed out from pain.

“Every damn morning...”

“Eek!” screeched Ranma, as she darted to the ceiling.

“Really, Saotome,” smirked Nabiki, “why are you so uptight? I figured losing it to your wife would have mellowed you a bit?”

Ranma could only blink. She knew? “Umm...”

“Get down here, washing the ceiling is a pain,” she sighed, as she went to start her own cold bath.

“Um ... Nabiki? Why are you in here?”

“Because I need a bath,” she sighed. “I’m taking Usa and her friend to see a movie, and your father in his usually stupidity knocked me into the koi pond when he was trying to heat the water.

“You know, your father isn’t too bright. He knows what happens whenever he tries to change back thanks to the Cat’s Tongue. But he still does it. Most of the time he wakes me up when he does that.”

“Oh ... why.”

“Your new Mother decided he needed to learn a lesson.”

“Oh,” said Ranma.

“Are you going to stare or are you going to finish your scrub?” smirked the middle Tendo sister. “You better hurry up and decide. I think Usa was going to take a bath soon.”

Ranma finished her scrub in record time.

Makoto waited by the door for someone to answer. She didn’t see Michiru’s car anywhere, which meant at least Haruka was home—the racer Senshi never could get into that family vehicle.

“What the Hell is it!”

“Eek!” screamed Makoto, hopping back, and nearly pulling out her henshin pen. “H-Haruka, you scared me!”

“Sorry,” muttered Haruka, rubbing her eyes.

“Oh my, what happened to you?” asked the worried Makoto, seeing Haruka’s sorry state.

“Bad dreams courtesy of my big mouth,” she muttered, before she yawned.

“Huh?”

“I ran my mouth, and was told some stuff that has been giving me nightmares all night.”

“Oh, it wasn’t something any of us said, was it?”

“No,” waved off Haruka. “Actually, I was kind of glad to apologize to you guys last night.”

“Can I ask what it was?”

Haruka sighed. “Let’s just say Setsuna needs to soundproof the walls and leave it at that.”

Makoto blinked for a bit, before the major possibility hit her. “Oooooohhhh.”

“Yeah,” said Haruka, not wanting to go into details about Michiru’s little comment, or the dreams she was having about her and Ranma. No, she rather liked to pretend those things weren’t happening, thank you very much, and try to violently suppress those memories.

“Is ... um ...is Setsuna in?” Makoto asked, face red with embarrassment.

“Oh, hello Mako-chan,” smiled said woman, appearing from inside the house, looking fresh as ever.

Haruka just glared at the woman. It just wasn’t right, in her opinion, to go from the sorry state she had been in a few hours ago, to being Little Miss Happy Homemaker in that short of time ... not without some serious drugs.

“Oh, Haruka-chan, please let me know if some delivery people arrive. They’re delivering a new bed frame.”

“A new frame?” asked Makoto, in both awe and shock.

“Oh yes,” smiled Setsuna. “I found that I needed something a little more ... sturdy ... now that my husband has arrived. The old one simple didn’t have the strength to support us as I feared.”

She turned to face Haruka, a knowing smirk on her face. “Should I call and ask them to bring one for you as well, Haruka-chan? Better to prepare for the future, after all, how study can your frame be?”

Haruka stared for a moment, before she growled. “You know ... I hate you.” With that, she stalked off back inside in the vain hope of getting some rest.

Setsuna sighed. “Ah, the happy home. She’ll thank me for the new frame later.” With that, she turned back to Makoto. “I take it you need my help again?”

Makoto shyly nodded. “Is ... is there anyone else here?” she asked with embarrassment. Her biggest fear when they had done this yesterday was someone walking in on them.

“No, Michiru will be shopping for a few hours, Haruka will be in the Den trying to sleep, and Hotaru left with Usa this morning to go visit her temporary home at the Tendos.”

“Oh ... okay,” said Makoto, as she nervously entered the house.
