Great Will-Disgaea-ed: Answers, answers, everywhere, and not a stop to think. [Episode 183044]

by Greyman

With a little under a thousand floors to fill, plus outhouses, Ranma was running out of ideas and time to think them.  So, he did the only insane thing possible and outsourced thinking to anyone he came across.

“He didn’t specify which world, did he?” Shinji asked.  “Maybe you could terraform Mars or Venus and then conquer THAT world.”

“Terror what now?” Ranma asked himself, Willed, then blinked as the Great Will filled in the gaps.  “Ah, I see.  No, I’ve got to conquer ‘this mortal realm’, or it gets destroyed.  I’m pretty sure that means Earth.”

“Oh.”  Shinji’s drooped at the idea being shot down.  “I guess we mustn’t run away.”

“Still, the orbital station is on it’s way to Mars anyway, hey,” Ranma mussed as he moved on.  “We may as well equip it for colonisation when it gets there.  We’ll do Venus latter.  Maybe some of the other planets, moons, asteroids, centaurs, and some dwarf planets in the kuiper belt too.”

“I’ve got this design from an old TV show of these minions you could make,” Ritsuko proffered, presenting a folder.  “You’d have to make sure they were loyal to you, of course.”

“Cybermen?” Ranma frowned looking over the designs for metal men, both the clunky older suits of armor and the sleeker, newer, model.  “Ah, Doctor Machinegal’s working on something along these lines, isn’t he?  How’s that going?”

“The cyborgynoid conversion factory is ready to produce two further test models in addition to the Rei series personacoms currently in production,” Rei #34 proffered.  “The Serio series domestic units, and the Saber series military units.  Once we have a supply of girls we can produce an army of maids and bunnygirls and such to infiltrate everywhere.”

“Good,” Ranma nodded absently.  “Er, I think.”

“We’ll, what about these?” Rituko offered a distraction.

“Dalek?” Ranma read and flipped through the file.  “Odd name but, it’s some kind of tank?  They look like salt and pepper shakers.  Can’t we do better than… what’s this?  K-9?”

“It appears to be a droid in the rough shape of a dog,” Rei #34 observed needlessly.  “A small mobile unit equipped with both analytical and combat features.  It could be quite useful for reconnaissance and guard duties.”

“Okay, done,” Ranma said, and Willed a K-9 kernel on floor 8.  “Also, have the Doctor branch out into other robo-pets and such.”

“Yes, support mecha disguised as innocent animals could be useful for infiltration,” Rei #34 agreed.

“Right.  Maybe have the Magi could work up better tank designs while your at it?  I’ll put a garage/factory somwhere… oh…” he stabbed a finger on the building directory, “…there.”

“The Balthazar suggests using Bolo designs,” Rei #34 observed after tapping into a datascreen.  “Also, Caspar thinks something closer to ground level might be more convenient.”

“It’s a pity you can’t simply wish that you ruled the world, isn’t it?” Misato commented over a bottle of sake.

“Uh…” Ranma hesitated.  Why hadn’t he thought of that?  “Er… Wouldn’t that be cheating?”

Misato meditated into the empty bottle.  “You mean this demon kid wants you to prove yourself worthy of looking like him and might get pissed if you just hand waved it?”

“Yeah,” Ranma agreed with a palm slam.  He knew there was a good reason he’d spend the last few hours setting things up.  “That’s it.  I knew I wasn’t just wasting time.”

“What are you doing just standing here for, anyway?”

“Ninja burger?” Ranma echoed.

“Yes,” Asuka repeated her idea.  “Ninjaburger.  A fast food delivery service with a ninja theme.”

“Ninja burger?”

“Well, you do have these ninja running around.  A franchise will be the perfect cover for them to infiltrate society unnoticed.”

“But they are ninja,” Ranma protested.  “They don’t need a cover to sneak in!  That’s what ninja means.”

“Yes,” Asuka observed, “theoretically anyway.  But you have to admit that for ninja they are a rather noticeable lot.”

“I guess,” Ranma admitted.  “But… ninja burger?”

“Would you’d prefer samurai pizza catgirls?”

“… ah, no…”

“How about a torture chamber?” Rei #12 suggested over video game research.

“I don’t think so,” Ranma decided firmly.

“Then perhaps something more modern?” the girl reconsidered.  “Like a psyche manipulation chamber?  An interogation and conversion facility could prove most useful.”

“I’d have to think about it,” Ranma said doubtfully.

“Time is running out,” Rei #12 observed pointedly.

“Right, right,” Ranma hastily agreed and distractedly Willed it so before rushing off to the next crazy idea.

“Seraglio in rooms 596 to 599 with complete with conditioning and training facilities, check,” Ranma nodded and Willed away.  “Wait, what‘s a… never mind, no time, I’ll find out latter.  Next!

Ideas kept pouring in, and Ranma Willed away until time ran out.
